    I know how you feel. It's tough seeing Chad Greenway play and play well for the Vikings. They also have two other former Hawkeyes in Albert Young and Benny Sapp but Young will never play and Sapp transferred and I didn't like him much anyways. But yeah, seeing players you loved in college play for a team you hate in the NFL sucks.

    Oh and if Iowa finishes undefeated with Cincy and Boise, Iowa should be ahead of those teams. They would have beated better teams.

    Screw everyone. 8-0 with an epic finish. I don't think Iowa deserves the title game if Florida/Alabama and Texas finish undefeated but I think they'd put up a fight against those three teams (I think they'd struggle with Texas the most). I'm enjoying this season, especially after the crapfest known as the Cubs season. I really hope we destroy Indiana and Northwestern, but with the way this season has gone those will be tough as well. We should be going to a BCS game now either way, but we'll see. It's my nature to be pessimistic. The other two wins in our non conference season are looking better by the way (Arizona and Iowa State.). And those were dominating wins.

    That turnover by Campbell was bad. I also thought their second goal was scored because a Hawks player went for a hit instead of playing his position leaving a guy wide open. My hockey knowledge isn't spectacular but I thought the fundamentals could have been better.

    Isn't every game between two BCS schools that aren't the crappy bottom of the barrel teams, essentially a coinflip.

    I'm slowly becoming a big Niemi fan. Especially when I have to watch Huet play the way he has. It makes an average goalie fun to watch.

    They've faced like one top third passing team this year. I'm not going to say they have a bad pass defense because they do not. I'm going to say that part of their numbers of a great passing defense is due to not facing quality passing teams. Cool. I still stand by everyting I just said.

    Iowa's biggst strength is probably their pass defense so I think they'd do fine against a pass happy SEC team.

    They're #22 in the BCS and tied for 2nd in the Pac-10 after beating decent Oregon State(on the road) and Stanford teams. Their other loss is on the road to decent Washington on a pick-6. They aren't Texas, but it's a perfectly good non-con win. It's possible that they could finish with 7-8 wins too. Which isn't too bad. A top ten team should be able to beat that sort of team convincingly and Iowa did that. Wisconsin probably finishes with 9-10 wins if they beat who they are supposed to and Penn State probably do the same and Michigan is pretty similar to Arizona in my opinion. I know people look at the UNI game (and they should, it's a part of the schedule) and the Arkansas State game and discount Iowa but they have some pretty good darned good wins and they deserve to be in the top ten. If they deserve to be there in the end it will show in their final record.

    I love how an undefeated team who has played all but one team with a winning record (and beaten them) doesn't deserve to be in the top 25. To be honest with you, Iowa's resume looks better than half the top ten's, including Texas (no I'm not claiming Iowa is better).
