  1. That's where the system has tremendous issues Boise and other non-BCS teams probably will never be able to do enough to warrant being one of the top 2 teams in the country as far as their schedule goes and there isn't much they can do about it.
  2. Luckily the entire central has looked pretty bad thus far.
  3. Yay skills competition loss.
  4. It's a pretty dumb way to determine a winner.
  5. Honestly, they have to win by as much as possible vs Louisiana Tech. I think that may have factored into the decision.
  6. You'd have to think this game hurts Boise at this point, even if they win.
  7. This is probably true but Rose not being 100% certainly isn't helping things and the defense has looked pretty good thus far. I would like to have someone that I had more faith in from the outside, especially with Rose's ability to drive to the hoop.
  8. By exciting, you mean slow-paced and boring. Outside of the SA game and tonight, we've been a dreadful team to watch at the beginning part of the season. That doesn't take anything away from this win though. Our defensive intensity is much improved this year, which is real good to see. Anytime you can get a win at the Q, it's real impressive. I just hope this team can start scoring more points, though. Wins=exciting. Wins vs the best teams in the league=even more exciting.
  9. 2-1 against title contenders now. This team has been pretty exciting to watch. Much more fun then the early part of last season.
  10. It's a weird thing to say considering the last play but does it seem like Rose looks to pass more when he drives to the hoop then he should or am I just seeing things? Seems like there has been a couple of times when he had a lane and passed instead.
  11. They've fairly impressive defensively though.
  12. I fully expect the Cavs to turn in on in the 4th quarter and pull away.
  13. Cleveland doesn't look like a team primed to win a title tonight. Bulls look like they could be the 4th seed tonight. Judging anything from an early season game though is kind of pointless I guess.
  14. sorry about your loss to Northwestern I would say there's no way they could lose to Northwestern, but the Cats beat IU... And we've had Iowa's number the past few years. Iowa has really played down to the level of their competition in a few games this season. Homer prediction: If Kafka and PickManis are healthy, NU will make it interesting. That's not a homer prediction that's a logical prediction. The last 2 weeks I kept thinking "This is the week our offense will put it all together and break out." Still waiting. Hopefully they got the insane turnover game out of their system though. Northwestern has had some fortune against Iowa that hopefully will run out but I'm not sure how that counters with Iowa's luck this year and how all that counters with the SI jinx. I just want a nice healthy three score win (and not in the way we got it last week). And I haven't shaved since the season started. I think that should counter the SI jinx.).
  15. I have this feeling that Rodgers is going to have this hall of fame type career but he will always play on mediocre teams so his career will pretty much be wasted.
  16. The Bulls have pretty much played 3 crappy games and are 2 and 2 at the end of it. Hopefully they can keep it within 20 at Cleveland.
  17. This sucks. This was a game the Bulls could have won. Oh well.
  18. I don't think you can be the next person to touch it though. Kind of like the NFL. I might be wrong though.
  19. Not a fun sports day.
  20. Need a stop.
  21. You guys are definitely the class of the division. I have no idea what the hell we were doing in the first half. This team wasn't ready to play today and that's really unacceptable. That's because we have a bad coach.
  22. Miami's made clutch shots and the Bulls have missed them. That's probably the ball game there.
  23. Geez, Im sick of him as well. But he's always like that. Add in the fact that this is his first game at Green Bay obviously he was going to be like that. The Vikigns are the better team, however I do think we can beat them. We really beat ourselves in special teams and especially in the 1st half. The Vikings have a better O Line/D Line and it also helps they have the best player in the league in Adrian Peterson, but that's about it. McCarthy really frustrated me today. Sometimes it makes me wonder if he has a clue. The Vikings/Saints are on a collision for each other it feels like. Percy Harvin is good. Gotta hope for a WC spot now. Gotta beat TB and get ready for Dallas in 2 weeks. Why did we attempt a field goal on that last drive? It was an attainable 4th down and you needed 6 to take the lead.
  24. Very true. They could really use a clean, big win against Northwestern. Not expecting it though. My only thing is that when a name brand school has a win like yesterday, most of the reaction is that they woke up, made plays when they had to and put it away. I'm not sure I buy this. People would be criticizing the 2002 OSU team for a game like yesterday. A team who is moderately similar to Iowa (although their close games were against better teams for the most part than Iowa's) I think Iowa's one of the weirdest teams....well ever. They barely beat FCS teams then they beat the top 5 team in their house. Where is the precedence for this?
