I don't even care. Hope it means were a step closer to firing McCarthy and Thompson. What's the point of having a team of offensive playmakers when you don't even have a line to block anyone. After this weekend I never want to watch football again.

Yeah, that's how I felt about CHI/CLE last week. There's no way to feel good about the game. You either dominate (in which case it's what you were supposed to do and means nothing), or you don't (in which case you feel horrible that your team can't even dominate a tomato can). Or even worse case. You lose, which I'm terrified of because Green Bay doesn't play well in Tampa and their may be a let down after Minnesota. Yeah, Tampa is bad but Green Bay isn't good enough to say this will be an automatic win.

I just can't excited to watch the Packers play another cupcake when I know they'll probably get beat by Dallas next week.

If he keeps up his solid play (obviously he won't be that good for the rest of the 1st half), he should garner some serious All-Star consideration. I was worried about this game and I figured it'd be a close game. I'll definitely take the win. Nice to see Salmons actually have a good shooting night as well. Have the Bulls ever beaten the Bobcats soundly? It seems like, no matter how bad they are, they always play the Bulls tough.

a quick start is something that has eluded this team for years....it's nice to see We have a brutal schedule to start the year. I'd say the stretch lasts for a bout the first 25 games, yeah there are some winnable games in there but there are also a lot of tough games. I'd say if we get to 12-13 wins after the first 25, we are in really, really good shape.

What are you talking about? Iowa's AD announced that they were not going to play the last few games. They finished the season 9-0.

I'll take 4-2. Denver will be tough but they've gotten blown out the last two games. Hopefully the offense can wake up against them. I haven't seen them play but they've allowed 120+ a couple of times now so hopefully we can score vs them.

Well crap, I just read that Ferentz thinks Stanzi is done for the regular season. I guess it could be worse than playing in Florida every again. I would have taken 9-3 coming into the season.

Ok, I'm over the loss now time to go into the horse shoe and then beat Minnesota and go to the Rose Bowl. ( I can dream, right?) Seriously though, without Stanzi, our Rose Bowl chances are about the same as when MSU went in to Penn State last year. Technically they have a chance but it's not going to happen.

they're losing by 4 points to northwestern at home. With no QB. I don't see how a freshman from Keokuk is going to do anything.

Everyone who wanted to see Iowa play an SEC team is going to get their chance now. I don't see how they don't end up in the Cap-One bowl or the Outback.

Personally I think Penn State is better then when they played Iowa and may be the best team in the conference right now. Although it's really hard to judge them because they haven't played anyone outside of Iowa. I have a lot of faith that they'll beat Ohio State. It'll probably be a very similar game to the Iowa/Penn State game though because OSU's defense is really, really good.
