I probably used a bad example to explain my point. But I was just trying to point out how annoying it is to say that one conference is bad when a bottom feeder beats a top team from another conference that that conference is good and deep. I don't think one can use conference games to determine how good a conference is. You have to use bowl games and non conference games. I also don't see how Purdue couldn't hang with Arkansas. They almost beat one of the best Pac 10 teams in their own place.

Purdue could be a 5-1 team. I'm hoping that's a shot at CubbieBum and not a serious thing. They're not 5-1 because they're not good. No they aren't. I'm just saying that they aren't as bad as their record and it takes a lot of bad luck to lose that many close games. I'm also a Big Ten homer.
