No each guy gets it for a day during the summer and then it goes back to the HHOF. So people work their ass off and dream their whole lives to get to have a trophy for just a day? Sports are weird.
Honestly I think I'm just going to enjoy watching my favorite teams for a while, for me I look at all my favorite teams as kind of a chain and every failure builds upon itself. I think I'll just enjoy watching individual games for a while. Don't have to be so obsessed with seeing a title.
I heard it. After a couple minutes of the confusion I turned on the radio feed and the delay was such that it was just happening. Weidemann was just as confused as Doc was. It's too bad it happened that way, but who gives a [expletive]. So they were pretty much like what everyone else was like? I love post-title interviews and it's ever cooler when it's players you've watched and rooted for all year.
I've seen my favorite teams win championships but one was the Packers when I was 10 and I wasn't that big of a fan yet (I played Mariokart during the Superbowl game) and I only watched the Bulls during the finals at the time so I really want this. Badly.
'96 eh? Was that Krivo's goal? The one where Foley's voice cracked during his goal call? I was 10 So I'm not sure but I think so because I think I remember them showing the highlight last year. I think it was Krivo with that whiff shot that crawled over Roy's shoulder. EDIT:
They beat the Aves at home 1997. They finished the Flames off on the road the year before (this is all based off of wikipedia)
