    First period was pure domination. Probably the best period of the year. The second period, Philly got back into it and scored one in the first minute and had a couple of good chances to cut it to one. Third period I think they played back on their heels a bit but responded, unlike game 2 where it was all on their side of the ice. It was their best game of the series by far and if they play like this again they are winning Wednesday.

    It's pretty easy to be more confident when you aren't facing what, arguably, was the best team in the NHL's best period of the year.

    they got back in the series by passing across to an open man on the back side. I don't find it surprising they are continuing with what gave them some success. And I've noticed that, but the Hawks have apparently made adjustments because it's not working tonight. On the other hand they've whiffed on a couple of chances. They hit those it's a one goal game right now.

    It's a good call and a tough play for Seabrook. He might have saved a goal off a bad bounce. That was a great save by Niemi.
