Yeah what the hell? Iowa goes two time zones west and loses to a top 20 team by a touchdown, Texas gets trounced by a bad team at home. So naturally Texas is in front of them. I also like Miami jumping Iowa while they were on a bye and Iowa beat a bad team 45-0. Miami trounced Pitt at Pitt on Thursday.

If you take college sports out of the equation the city of Cleveland (I don't know, maybe Cleveland State will suck at basketball and we can include them too) they have had a crappy year thus far that can almost be comparable. The Indians have been horrible along with the Browns and the Cavs lost one of the best NBA players of all time.

As an outsider, I took GB, but I think it will be lower-scoring than people think. 27-20. I kind of think it will be low scoring too. I see both teams moving the ball but both teams struggling to get in the end zone.

Texas just got smoked at home. Oklahoma almost lost to a reeling Cincy team. Oregon is down 24-14 right now. It can't end up Alabama/Florida for obvious reasons. Boise St. has won repeatedly on the national stage including two BCS games in the last three years. The hate is amusing. I hope they win the national championship to shut everyone up. Hell, they could beat an undefeated Alabama team and people would bitch. They have one win over the 23 ranked team in the country (and that team has a losing record). In order to be in the title game you have to be in the top 2 in the nation and in order to be considered in the top 2 you have to beat good teams. It's pretty awesome that all a team has to do is beat two decent football teams to go to the championship game. I'm kind of sick of Boise State. Then again if they made it and my team wasn't involved I would probably cheer for them because I like the underdog.

ok? they have a qb who arrived on campus like a month ago. temple went 9-4 last year and psu outgained them by more than 2:1 and would have won by a bunch if they hadn't settled for 35 field goals. they may go 4-4 in conference but that would have more to do with the conference being pretty good and deep this year rather than psu being "pathetic" I have to admit that I am confident about a freshman QB coming into Kinnick during a night game. Penn State is going to have issues scoring on Iowa you would think. On the flip side I feel confident about an Iowa game and that makes me nervous.

I don't really see how the Vikings will see him as the QB of the future. If there is no NFL next year you're looking at a 29 year old QB with not too much experience. Plus there is no way you bench Favre (or no way Favre let's them bench him). He didn't come back to sit on the bench.
