  1. I picked the Braves over the Yankees in the pre-season. I'm going to stick with that.
  2. They play the Colts next so you'd think that will end next week. Week 5 seems pretty early to have no undefeated teams but I could be wrong.
  3. Of course there is a subjective scale. It was a very light hit, the softest one I have ever seen that resulted in a concussion. You could tell Jay gave up in the first half. This was his way out of the game. He is making a statement to Lovie and Jerry. I'm confused as to how having the back of your head smack against the turf is soft. Because it wasn't slammed that hard against the turf. This sort of stuff happens on every play. You can't really prevent your brain from rattling into your skull by being tough.
  4. The o-lineman carried him in there.
  5. I'm pretty sure that Lovie decided that the defense was going to try to score with the ultra conservative play that's taking place. I suppose when Todd Collins or what ever this guys name is is your QB that's all you can do.
  6. Yet one of these offenses can still beat the Packers Yeah, we suck too, what's your point.
  7. These offenses suck.
  8. I don't know how Cutler hasn't been injured yet with the Bears line.
  9. Both teams struggled to beat the Lions at home, yes. But that was not the only reason I feel the Packers are better than the Bears. Although they certainly didn't play like it this week. As long as Green Bay has Kuhn and Jackson as their own running backs and a hit or miss type defense it's tough for me to say that they are the best in the division. On the other hand Rodgers did nothing to help his defense today. He made some dumb passes in the second half.
  10. Listening to Philly fans go insane is always fun.
  11. So Boozer will never actually appear in a game with the Bulls will he?
  12. That game was ugly for the Packers. I'm hoping it was a hangover from the Bears game/sucking after a short week. We are going to have issues with the good teams on the schedule if that happens again. On the other hand it was nice to see the run game finish it off. Didn't see that coming either.
  13. Not stopping Shaun Hill is annoying.
  14. Combine last week, the Lions driving with ease and now us struggling to move the ball against the Lions and the fans are frustrated. On the other hand we'll be fine and they should calm down. Fumble!!!
  15. That was just bizarre. What are you doing not using the timeout? It looked to me like Joe Pa was trying to signal for it. Before the delay of game one of the coaches was freaking out trying to get a timeout called with just under 10 on the play clock. Their red headed assistant was pushing him off the field, and looked right up at the clock like it was fine. Then when they were called for delay of game he was arguing with the official. How about their decision to punt on 4th and 6 at midfield with 4:40 left and down by 14? WTF are you doing? They conceded the game. The only explanation for that one is that their coach is really old honestly. I have no idea why they punted on that play. It really made no sense at all.
  16. I'm pretty sure that will be you're title game although Florida is not that best team Alabama will face the rest of the year and Oregon will play USC still (USC might see that as their bowl game since they aren't going to one this year) and Arizona. Alabama still has to go to LSU and South Carolina. They're better then those teams but those are going to be really tough places to play and they already look like they could at least be challenged on the road.
  17. I'd be intrigued if Iowa played Oregon in the Rose Bowl this year. Oregon's offense is almost unstoppable and Iowa's defense is really tough to score on.
  18. What's weird is that they don't seem to have the "bandwagon fan" type following of other big schools. I know or have seen plenty of Michigan, Florida, Texas etc fans but I don't seem to see or know too many Ohio State fans.
  19. I wish Pryor's running ability was as poor as his passing ability.
  20. Ohio State is making me not so nervous to play them right now.
  21. They would if they played the wild card winner as well. Edit: Except they'll play them in the ALDS so never mind.
  22. My cousin is a Giants fan and he likes to give me crap about the Cubs. I wonder if that will stop now.
  23. I have to ask. Who?
  24. I have some concerns, but not many. Obviously the lack of a running game hurts, but I'm hopeful that we're going to swing a trade before the deadline. One thing that upsets me is we have better tackles that aren't getting enough burn. Bulaga should be at LT and TJ Lang should be at RT. There's no excuse to continue to play Clifton and Tauscher. Our defense has held up very well despite missing Harris and Bigby for the first three games. I'm really impressed by that. Once we get them back after week 6, that should give us plenty of depth there -- something that we're solely lacking right now. Special teams is always a concern for this team, just because they're not coached well. The stupid ginger punter was fine the first two games but he was obviously a mess on Monday. Jordy Nelson has really impressed me as a kick returner, though. Every team has some weaknesses. I think we're fine compared to most teams around the league. Our strengths far outweigh our negatives. I can't believe how washed up Clifton and Tausher look at this point. I have no idea why Bulaga didn't play much or at all on Monday. Maybe MM was afraid of Peppers beating him but he already was destroying our line. My concerns mostly have to do with the penalties but a lot of those were because of Peppers and the lack of a run game. If Thompson gets us a running back I'll be a lot calmer. When you have a passing game and a good defense you should be good in this league though and the Packers clearly have both.
  25. I'm not going to lie. Even as a Packers fan the last few pages of this thread have been pretty awesome.
