I was only half paying attention but I've never seen a team shoot that many technical free throws in a row on something that wasn't a complete melt down. I did see the technical on McCabe and I'm not really sure why they called that at all.

It'd be kind of funny if spending a bunch of time pining after free agents only to see them go to Miami became a thing. Who do the Bears want next year that the Dolphins can take away? The Panthers have a lot of former Blackhawks players too so that's kind of the same thing too. -
You'll get nothing and like it. Seriously though, why are you a Magic, Bears, Cubs fan? I'm a Cubs, Bears, Magic, and TB Lightning fan. That's quite a bit different than liking every Chicago team except for one and in turn cheering for their biggest rival instead. Plus, I've never met another fan with the same combo of favorite teams. On the other hand I've seen hundreds of Cubs/Packers fans through the years. Just wondered if there was one prevailing reason why. I was ten and I picked the teams who were on my TV most.

it's a pretty unfair advantage that the packers are the only team in the nfl with a fan base stupid enough to fall for that "stock" scheme. What. You don't think 250$ for a piece of paper and a meaningless title is worth it?

In sumarry: Boise St and San Diego State to be invited for football only. Houston, Central Florida, and SMU to be invited for all sports. All by 2013. After that, the plan is Navy and Air Force a year later to make 12. They shouldn't get to be a part of the BCS anymore.

I don't see how stating Santo is 105th all time in WAR is helping his case. There are a lot more than 105 players in the hall of fame meaning he's better than a good chunk of them. EDIT: I deleted the link so your name doesn't show up if you want to change it.

Aside from removing him from my friends list, I'm not quite sure how to respond without calling him a moran. He has so many flaws in his argument and the phrasing makes it seem like he isn't willing to change his opinion anyways. Starting an argument would probably be more of a frustrating pain in the ass than anything

ESPN doesn't come close to ramming bottom tier bowls down our throat. They air them, that's all. If anything I think they lean towards ramming how meaningless they are down you throat.

I did speeches in high school that revolved around getting him in. I always had this suspicion that it wouldn't happen until right after he died. I wish I wasn't right on this one and wish he as alive to see it since it did mean so much to him.

Barry Alvarez coached high school football before he went to Wisconsin though there was a 12 year game where he was an assistant. that must have been a lot of overtimes lol. OOPS.

I've been fearful of playing the Giants all year long. They have a defensive line that can and has stepped up in the past and Eli is talented and can be good on any given day.

LOL. I do think a win/loss record has a tiny bit of merit in sports like football and basketball (moreso in basketball where a player must play both sides of the ball) but it's still overused by fans and there are still much better ways to analyze a player.

I'm hearing rumors of a possible Iowa vs Oklahoma matchup in the Insight Bowl. I have a hard time seeing us not getting smacked in that match up.
