  1. The Bulls are a pretty hatable franchise if you’re a fan of them
  2. I don’t look at their scores now. I only know how the others are doing by how much whining I read about on here. I scoreboard watch just because it keeps me in tune with the league but we’re better than everyone and as long as we act like it these dumb teams mean nothing
  3. I envy that you seemingly missed all of the "is Kobe the next Jordan?/Kobe IS the next Jordan"-talk. Didn’t seem as prominent though I wasn’t AS big into the NBA until LeBron joined the heat
  4. I’m starting to loath the Jordan vs LeBron thing. Did this happen when Jordan was towards the end of his career with anyone?
  5. So is the narrative written then do you work in the gifs or is it find the gifs then write around then?
  6. Strangely I find myself rooting for the cards over the pirates and brewers in recent games. Mostly because the brewers are in front of us and the Pirates being the pirates but I also feel they’ve been more annoying lately. I think I need to read the bfib twitter to refresh the cardinal hatred
  7. Keep winning series and win in this dumb stadium. Feels like we’ve struggled here too much recently
  8. Hurdle is on the top of the list of people I feel would love hard slides
  9. You can also slide straight through home and still be safe. You can’t technically do that at second though before the rules changed people obviously did it when the out was obvious
  10. Not so much here but in other circles. Pirates fans were clamoring for it
  11. I’m not saying the slide necessarily should be legal but I think it’s annoying that people are flipping out that Rizzo should get beaned. If you’re a person who subscribes to hitting people when you’re mad aren’t you the type that’s okay with hard slides to break up double plays?
  12. I love it and hate it at the same time. I would say 2 surprising things have happened in what, 10 years or so. Cavs bearing warriors and Mavs beating Heat maybe.
  13. I have no doubt that if a cardinal did that we’d hear about the “pussification of America” in response to critiques
  14. LeBron is great obviously but I don’t know. This felt more like Boston missing a lot of shots than the Cavs taking it. A lot of luck for them to win and I’m sure the Finals will suck.
  15. At least it was interesting before we probably get the same Finals forever
  16. Underachieving hyped up teams are my least favorite in sports. Become an achieving hyped team please
  17. Why are there Real Madrid fans crying after every goal? Don’t they win everything all the time?
  18. I feel the players will be more inclined to kneel. Next season could be interesting.
  19. I was trashed by the time Davis ties it. I was numb and still mostly believed. I actually almost fell asleep during the rain delay. I do remember a moment of “I can’t do this. It’s a horsefeathering game. I’ll find out in the morning” but I also realized that if I slept during the cubs winning the World Series I’d pretty much hate everything
  20. Well, he certainly doesn't lack in confidence. I get why players say this and have this mentality, but it would be refreshing to hear a young player say he is among the best players in a draft without having to triumphantly say he is the best player. You look dumb when you can't or don't back up your words -- looking at you Lonzo Ball (and his dad). I love arrogance in an NBA player as long as they have the work ethic to back it up
  21. I wasn’t even THAT emotionally invested in the playoffs last year. I’ve gotten a little more frustrated this year but even then, the season is so long it hasn’t gotten that strong. I’m also old now.
  22. The difference is the Heat were actually a good team. I know the Cavs just rolled the Raptors but this is the same team that struggled to get by the Pacers. Stevens is going to exploit every little thing he can and it wouldn’t surprise me at all if Boston won the series. I think the Celtics are better but it’s hard to say what’ll happen when one of the best ever is involved
  23. Part of me thinks the Celtics are winning this part of me remembers when the Bulls blew out the Heat in game one then never won again
  24. Aaron Bummer is a solid name for a bad team reliever
