Hamels becomes revitalized and this year’s Verlander beginning the resurgence of the pitching staff leading to a hit streak that puts the Brewers away leading to the 2016 feeling we wish to regain
I feel like the Brewers moves is something I would have done in MLB the show or something. I don’t know what any of that means aside from I’m bored at work and I decided to write some words
I feel there’s a lot of times I laugh stuff like this off then it turns out to be true so I’m open minded on it it’s happening, that said I’m sure players disliking other teammates is a thing on every team and it’s effect on winning seems overblown
I remember Jose Hernandez being good-to-about-average for most of his Cubs stay? Am I wrong? (I just looked it up. I was rightish. He somehow had a 4.5 WAR season for the Brewers!) He was an all star in Milwaukee? Must have been an “every team needs a representative” pick
I don’t know how I would have reacted if I was told back in the day that Joe Buck would have a better World Series winning call than Pat Hughes. It woulda been nuts though!
We’re in a good place in our fandom when this season feels kind of like a let down. There’s a lot of games that would be extremely memorable in other seasons.
