  1. IIRC, he went 0-22 to start last season and ended up having a good year. I'm not worried.
  2. Learn that Yahoo always has gliches. One time late last season, the box score they showed after a Cubs-Giants was the box score of a Cubs-Giants game from Spring Training.
  3. It is kinda difficult for people who have classes or work. Not everyone spends all day browsing NSBB. :P
  4. As a New Jersian, I feel your pain. Although, I grew up in a Yankee household, so I don't mind them. I jsut hate all the attention they get, and I hate the Mets (another result of growing up in a Yankee house).
  5. Haha, I feel like I shouldn't be surprised that Dempster and Eyre are there.
  6. Hitting .286 with 28 homers and 117 RBI's is hardly suckage, but he was terrible last year and was terrible in ST this year and is now a defensive liability. Hitting .286 but almost never taking a walk puts your OBP in Neifi-esque territory (.311). He made up for it in part with the power numbers that year. But he's not a guy I'd be running out to acquire. I didn't suggest obtaining him either. I was just pointing out that he wasn't terrible 2 years ago. I'm a firm believer in walks and getting on base, and I don't want to see his paltry OBP near this team either.

  8. As the other resident Titans fan, I feel a bigger need is at WR. They have absolutely no depth there and I can almost definitely see them taking Meachem or Jarrett. Though, nothing against your pick. They do need a good pass rusher. What we really needed to do was bring back Bennett, but I'm not terribly upset after seeing the contract he signed. It'll be tough for us to compete next season, I'm afraid. Yeah, I cried a little when I saw that Bennett signed with the Rams. I'll admit it. He was my favorite Titan. At this point, Vince Young has no one to throw to. Heck, even Bobby Wade left (signed with my other favorite team, the Vikings, who I'm drafting for). In my opinion the loss that hurt us the most was Travis Henry. I really think he could have been very valuable next season since Vince 1. won't have anyone to throw to and 2. isn't a great passer at this point anyway. I'm extremely worried about LenDale carrying the whole load and don't like the idea of spending two picks on another running back (Michael Turner). We had the money, we should have kept Travis. I know, that was dumb. We should have held on to him. He really helped take the weight off Young's shoulders last year. LenDale is overweight again and doesn't have the attitude and motivation needed. Now I see Chris Brown might re-sign, but I thought he hated it here. Nonetheless, we should have kept Henry. At this point I wouldn't mind having Chris Brown back, but I'm surprised he and the club didn't burn too many bridges. I have to say, I'm not thrilled with the Reinfeldt era right now. Neither am I. It's still early on, but it's off to a rocky start.
  9.   *proves you can die from laughter*

  13. Is that 102 hits in 185 ABs with 204 walks? If that were the case, I highly doubt Billy Beane would have released him.
  14. Perez was a nice prospect a few years back, but now I don't think he's worthy of a roster spot with Cedeno and Theriot around.
  15. I can't believe someone brought up Cliff Bartosh. :D Well, I did. :D He can also be considered relevent since we gave up another awesome name pitcher (Bear Bay) to get him.
  16. Looks like Flames24Rulez and the Packers are now on the clock.
  17. Cotts reminds me of Cliff Bartosh. Acquired to be on the roster but didn't really deserve it. Maybe Cotts will pull a Bartosh and be demoted.
  18. The Rays have potential, but the front office is run by a bunch of chickens with their heads cut off.
  19. If his last name is Ethier or Kemp - all the better. As good as Ethier and Kemp are or are going to be, do we really need more outfielders? Wow, what a buzzkill :P
  20. Awesome. Now we don't have to worry about seeing him on the team this season.
