    Who? Jon Lieber, relief pitcher- Chicago Cubs I know who he is, Lou doesn't seem to, though. I keep forgetting he's on the team which is a shame because he's one of my favorite players and he's been overall decent this season.

    Agreed. Alot of people thought Edmonds was done when the Padres released him, and he's been solid for the Cubs. Some team is going think that Sexson could be their "Edmonds" and sign him quickly. And I could see Tampa, seeing as they are looking for a RH pop for their lineup. It would be great to see someone like the Yanks get desparate and sign him only to have him continue to suck. Well, looks like I had the first part right at least.

    I kinda feel bad for Uggla but man he sucked. It was a very evenly matched games but I think of all the times the NL could have won.

    So I was at work today and to keep myself from being bored during my break, I was reading the All Star Game program. There was a section that picked the Yankees All Time roster. The shocking part is that whoever made the selections used OPS+ and Win Shares as a big part of who deserved to be on the team and Bill James even got a mention for his statistics. Sabermetrics are making their way into mainstream baseball.

    I think he'd give the Cubs a discount because of how much he loves it here. If he's reasonable, I'd re-sign him. Something like 3 years 20-25 mil or so. He'll probably command more than that though on the open market.
