  1. those are the 3 I was thinking as well. are viewers dumb enough to pick Jeter? Sweet Jesus, I hope not. Please please no. I'll set 5-1 odds that say they are. I also bet Paul O'Neill would be an honorable mention if they list any. what about scott brosius Ricky Ledee? Enrique Wilson? Aaron Boone. Luis Sojo Clay Bellinger Chad Curtis
  2. Bye bye Scott. Good luck, don't kill us in the playoffs. This kid we got seems to have a lot of talent. He just needs to put it together. Man, is that cliche or what.
  3. those are the 3 I was thinking as well. are viewers dumb enough to pick Jeter? You bet they are.
  4. Yankees have terrible rotation depth right now. Their top options are Ian Kennedy, Darrell Rasner, Carl Pavano, and Eric Milton. Ouch.
  5. Well, I think the good news is there's no way he can out-grit Ryan, Miles and Kennedy.
  6. I'd go: Banks Sandberg Anson Williams Santo Jenkins Three Finger Sosa Grace Hartnett Thing is, I bet very few people think about Anson, despite the fact he was the first player to reach 3,000 career hits.
  7. This is why ESPN should never have an opinion.
  8. Way to come in with a bang with your first post. =D>
  9. I'd say buy low and see what happens. Give him a minor league deal and see how he hits in AAA.
  10. If this is true, then it's hysterical while explaining a lot at the same time.
  11. Just DFA Eyre. He's in the last 2 months of his contract. So I think it is going to hurt the Cubs. If you can't get outs in a blowout, then you suck. You're Milwaukee Brewer bullpen bad. Orrrrrrrrrrr you're a guy who has done very well this year but hasn't been used since coming off the DL due to his bullpen-[expletive] manager and just might be more than a tad rusty. He got tagged in his last outing(s) before going on the DL and gets tagged in his first since coming off and his first appearance in over a month. Other than that, he's been fairly decent. I'd give him a few more chances.
  12. So Jake, how's it feel to be a Pirates fan right now? I feel for ya.
  13. If nothing else, the thought of Howry fist-bumping anybody is pretty funny to me.
  14. Gonzo is in his twilight years. His stats aren't that good and even his splits don't inspire me.
  15. If that trade happens, I'll be happy. Nice to see the Rays try to be competitive. I hope they win that division.
  16. I hate that he gets associated with this. I'd give him a hug if I ever saw him in person.
