  1. I voted to wake up at 6 just for the hell of it.
  2. I'm starting to have a bad feeling that this will happen.
  3. If you are sitting in the bleachers, the price of beer isn't an issue. Yea, I know. The two statements are independent of each other. It's actually good they don't serve beer in the bleachers because the fans are crazy enough without it.
  4. I forgot that Finley was actually good for them.
  5. I think they close Monument Park like 30 minutes-1 hour before gametime. If you want to see that, then get there early. If you're sitting in the bleachers, be prepared for a lot of roudiness. Also, be prepared for $8 beer. For a simple baseball experience, it's pretty nice, but the stadium isn't in great condition.
  6. HAHAHA Anyway, this isn't a bad trade for Boston. Gives the rotation some depth and they can let him walk at the end of the year if they don't want him back.
  7. Wouldn't Randy Winn be taking Ward's roster spot if the trade went down? Yeah, that was the point I was making. I'd like to see Hoff get a chance before we make a trade. I guess I should have made that clearer.
  8. Not a terrible trade depending how much money the Giants pick up and who the PTBNL is. Though, I would actaully like to see Hoffpauir take Ward's spot on the roster.
  9. Oh, cmon. Now we'll face them in the playoffs and he'll hit 6 homers in the series.
  10. I was just gonna say, Morelli is no Jesus. Don't confuse me.
  11. Rozner probably feels Ramirez should have ended up on third on that play.
  12. those are the 3 I was thinking as well. are viewers dumb enough to pick Jeter? Sweet Jesus, I hope not. Please please no. I'll set 5-1 odds that say they are. I also bet Paul O'Neill would be an honorable mention if they list any. what about scott brosius Ricky Ledee? Enrique Wilson? Aaron Boone. Luis Sojo Clay Bellinger Chad Curtis
  13. Bye bye Scott. Good luck, don't kill us in the playoffs. This kid we got seems to have a lot of talent. He just needs to put it together. Man, is that cliche or what.
  14. those are the 3 I was thinking as well. are viewers dumb enough to pick Jeter? You bet they are.
  15. Yankees have terrible rotation depth right now. Their top options are Ian Kennedy, Darrell Rasner, Carl Pavano, and Eric Milton. Ouch.
  16. Well, I think the good news is there's no way he can out-grit Ryan, Miles and Kennedy.
  17. I'd go: Banks Sandberg Anson Williams Santo Jenkins Three Finger Sosa Grace Hartnett Thing is, I bet very few people think about Anson, despite the fact he was the first player to reach 3,000 career hits.
  18. This is why ESPN should never have an opinion.
