  1. He was the first overall pick in the 2004 draft. He was a shortstop, and he lost all ability to make contact once he got to the minors. Rather than give up on him completely, the Pads tried to convert him into a pitcher, but he needed TJS and missed all of last season. And this isn't the first time he's gotten into trouble with the law.
  2. What does he project as?
  3. The Pads really struck gold when they drafted him, huh?
  4. It's been stated on this board many times over the years, but I'll say it again: MVP 05>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>every other baseball game Baseball Mogul is solid, and I have a place in my heart for Ken Griffey Jr Baseball for N64, but that's about it.
  5. Eric Hinske....oh wait. Ty Wigginton....nevermind Honestly, we need power off the bench. If we could add Nomar, I'd be happy.
  6. I think I may buy a Matt Wieters jersey.
  7. ok then, take your pick- Hendry: -has really mismanaged his prospects and how to get the best value for them over the last few yrs -has put together an absolutely piss-poor farm system, which with the resources he's had at hand, is downright indefensible at least one of the two statements is correct 3) Had a lot of really good prospects and got unlucky that few panned out. Not my opinion of the situation, but a defensible possibility. Yeah, we've had a number of good prospects that never reached their potential: Pie C-Patt Choi Bobby Hill Prior Montanez Cedeno and the list goes on and on...
  8. He had 18 walks in 19 innings and didn't do any better an in the minors. The ERA is a result of luck.
  9. Yeah, he's not great, but this is still a good deal. He's better than half the players on that team.
  10. Such a hater. That was such a beautiful win. I loved every second of it. Devils, baby.
  11. I posted this in the thread in transactions.
  12. http://blog.stats.com/2009/01/whiff_profile_aaron_heilman.html A piece on Heilman and his pitches. According to this, they are pretty good and he has a history of pitching out of the zone rather than attacking hitters. They also predict his 09 will be like his better years.
  13. That's a shame. I was looking to get it. I checked the Sports Mogul site and 2006 Baseball Mogul is apparently free. Worth it? I've only played the 2008 version and I don't have it anymore.
  14. Yeah, I'm mostly going by the names. Abreu's demands make me think he believes its still 2001.
  15. Wonderful. Let's hope the PTBNL is halfway decent or has good, raw talent. I would have preferred holding on to Hill a bit longer.
  16. That's what I was just about to post.
