EDIT: Can we now change the word filter from Howry to "Ward" hmm... wait that won't work... fine... from Howry to "Hill", it's really the only option other than Marquis (who possibly might not be here next year).

    Get caught in the safety net, cliff jumper ;) heh, but can you blame me? when i posted that they were looking atrocious and it looked like they were on their way to a 4th straight loss. then boom boom boom and a 4-2 win. it's like the team has a split personality Yea, I agree. But, it's been the story of the season where they come out slow and terrible in the 1st period and completely turn it around in the final 40 minutes. It's not good that it happens, and it needs to be fixed... but I don't even start worrying til the 3rd period any more.

    Neither have left the first page of social since their respective seasons started, except maybe that week's Bears thread on like Thursday or Friday. Yea they have multiple times. Hawks thread got to page 3 even. I usually try to bump them when they're off the first page (usually in the mornings when I first get to work). But I mean, the title of the Gamethread forum is "Game Threads" Having 4 extra threads in there wouldn't hurt anything and would keep that chatter out of the Social Forum. Then find it from the third page, it's not a hard thing to do. People bump threads from the second or third page all the time. I do, did you not read my post?

    I don't think they are anymore. I'd like to see them give Crawford a few games to show what he's got, then try and move him as well. The most logical choice of someone to move would be Havlat. We might be better off declaring Huet has a phantom "injury" and is out indefinitely, then call up one of our minor league goalies. But of course that won't happen. I don't see why we signed the guy, he's horrible. It's like every time he's in goal we're doomed. He's really not horrible... he got cold at the wrong time last year for the Caps in the playoffs. Huet is the kind of goalie that gets better the more consecutive games he plays. He hasn't had that with the Hawks. Crawford is up now, and he will play Friday if Bulin isn't back. Coach Q said Bulin could POSSIBLY be back this weekend, but I expect to see Crawford in the net for one game before being sent back down. The future is Niemi and I think they signed Huet because they know Khabibulin will be gone next year. Having a 1 and 2 of Niemi and Huet isn't too bad either. EDIT: No, Huet is signed for 4 years... duh. $22.5 mil. Gonna be Niemi and Huet for awhile, folks. Niemi is a special goaltender, though. Really excited to see him mature.

    the suspension doesn't really make senes to me either. however, it really, really sounds like dallas's veterans hate him. that's going to be a pretty huge problem going forward, if it isn't already. I agree... the Avery suspension is the most sad thing I've ever seen. He's said much worse and not gotten any kind of discipline. Also, how come athletes who say the "F word" accidentally during an interview hardly ever even have to apologize? Stupid ruling on a hilarious comment. Didn't know "sloppy seconds" was an offensive term.

    Word of warning, trolling will get you banned. Don't think he's really trolling, he didn't make any negative statements about the Bears or anything mallicious. ELCABALLO talks in our gamethreads during the Brewers/Cubs games.
