    since 2 weeks ago? 2 weeks ago didn't eliminate us from the playoffs. If the Bears won that game, this game wouldn't matter that much. But they didn't which makes this game even more exciting.

    Alfonso Soriano Rich Harden Re signing Zambrano Lou Piniella Fukudome (before we knew hot crappy he'd be this year) Harden Re-signing/trading for Ramirez Whether you think he produces enough or not the Lee trade was great and we resigned him for a reasonable amount coming off a career year Lilly signing 4@40 was considered a large deal for a pitcher at the time I would expect the Cubs to sign Soto long term when the time comes, assuming he continues to be a steady offensive player/stays healthy. Well the Ramirez deal was highway robbery. We didn't know he'd turn out like he did... but I agree with re-signing.

Our team last year COULD have won a championship... they won 97 games for God's sake. THE PLAYERS DIDN'T PERFORM DURING A CRUCIAL TIME... I don't wanna hear any kind of BS from a Cubs fan saying they won't go to a game until the management want's to win... I think it's been pretty freaking obvious.

    Don't know if it's been mentioned over night, but on a sportscenter on EPSN1000 this morning it said the Padres said the deal has to get done today.

    Hawks are ranked 6th in the division with 33 points. The Flames, Ducks, and Canucks are 5,4,3 with 29 games played with 34,35,35 points respectively. That being said... the Hawks are one win out of 3 games away from being 3rd in the conference!
