    what the hell was campbell doing? that was terrible Lollygagging and planning his next spin-o-rama. I really wish I could pin this on Fraser because he has been TERRIBLE tonight... but the Hawks all of a sudden look more sluggish than they have all season. They are being outplayed, and winning tonight would be "stealing a win".

    crosby had 5:29 of ice-time in the third compared to 7:17 in the 2nd and 8:47 in the 1st. malkin had 6:04 compared to 7:11 and 7:30 in the first two periods. it sounds like therrien was just rolling 4 lines. if he plays his 4th line a lot i'm sure he'd be accused of trying to goon the islanders or some ridiculous thing, i don't think he can win here. Well it's good to respect the game both ways. I am not saying by any means to NOT shoot the puck. If you have an open shot take a 15 foot wrister/one timer... or rip slapshots from the blue line. But the way they scored their 9th goal irked me... a bunch of fancy passes just to cap a hat trick... yea everyone wants to get a hat trick (Dupuis) but I thought it was kind of classless. Also thought it was classless after 10+ Pitt PPs Crosby is still crying to the refs... I am surprised no one made a run at him.

    Revisiting the running up the score issue that the Penguins had last night... what is your guys' stance on it? Up 8-2 with 3 minutes left and making fancy passes and having Malkin on the ice and scoring?

    Two things. First, Kane should be smarter than to basically admit to the press that he carved up another dude's face on purpose. And second, that's a bitch move. Obviously, I love Kane. But that's not how you retaliate. Now, I admit, I'm not sure exactly how Kane is supposed to retaliate, given his size and lack of desire to play a physical game. Perhaps he's not supposed to. Perhaps he's supposd to leave that to Eager or Adams. Either way, I don't like this. I agree with you completely in this case except I kind of have to agree with Kane. Kane isn't gonna fight anyone because he's way to small and would get his ass kicked. Also, the Hawks don't have anyone out there to protect him really... with Burish not out there to get his ass kicked for everyone, teams know they can make a run at Kane because no one is going to do anything about it. If the Hawks had a LaRaque or Orr on the team, I would call it a bitch move by Kane... but he HAS to protect himself. EDIT: But admitting it? DUMMMMMBASS....
