I'd put our best starters for the rest of the season as Zambrano, Lilly, Hill, Marshall, Lieber, Dempster/Gallagher tied, Marquis. He deserves it more than Marquis would, but I still don't think he's among our best five starters. Why would we start our LOOGY?

Brewers. I know the Cards will not keep this up. So wouldn't you be rooting for the Cardinals then? If they end up sucking later in the year, wouldn't a win here be meaningless for the Cubs by September? #-o Yeah that's what I meant.

Or it could be because he's 38. Usually when players get around that age they aren't very good anymore. Just a wild thought. Or the Cubs could *gasp* give their top prospect a chance! *paging bukie* Just who is this "estblished" slugger you're talking about? Come on, you've got to give Hendry more credit than that.

I think the Cubs could get the sweep. This was the game I figured we would get killed. I think we'll be able to light Scherzer up. I like our chances Sunday because I like Z's chances against anyone not named Webb, Peavy, or Santana.

I am going to be crazy to say this, but I still think of the Brewers as bigger threats than St. Louis. My best outcome would be the Cardinals to take 2 of 3. I didn't say cheering. This is the Cardinals, though, the same team we keep waiting to fall off and never does. They will fall off.

No I wouldn't. I know Dunn is phenominal masher, but he's a DH playing the field, much like Carlos Lee. I still value defense over offense, over the course of a season. Plus when you take into account the fact that either Soriano or Dunn would be moved to RF, with Fuku moved to CF, I don't Dunn's offense, makes up for as bad that OF defense would be. Give me Milton Bradley. so for a left-fielder their defense is more valuable than their offense? huh? That didn't make much sense either. Dunn has improved on his defense greatly the last two years as well. Granted, he has an arm that Juan Pierre would be proud of. Isn't Milton Bradley the guy who tore his ACL arguing with an ump? -
