I think you'll find a lot more Bonds lovers than haters on here because theres a decent chunk of us that actually want the cubs to improve. Bonds is exactly what the Cubs are looking for, middle of the order lefty and hes freely available (ie dont have to give up anything for him). I hate collusion. I still think the risk is much higher than the reward but a 1.000 OPS is a really nice reward. -

No I wouldn't. I know Dunn is phenominal masher, but he's a DH playing the field, much like Carlos Lee. I still value defense over offense, over the course of a season. Plus when you take into account the fact that either Soriano or Dunn would be moved to RF, with Fuku moved to CF, I don't Dunn's offense, makes up for as bad that OF defense would be. Give me Milton Bradley. yes it does -

I can't wait until Soriano busts out with a 3 HR game. This guy probably wouldn't post for a few weeks. Of course, in Soriano's 4th AB, he could strikeout and CubsGM will run to his computer and post, "OMG SORIANO SUCKS HE HAS NO PATIENTCE LOLZ!" You say this as if he's unfairly criticizing Soriano. He's been awful all season so far. Complaining is more than justified. I know, but this guy complains about Soriano in just about every post. So the only Cub that can be complained about in every post is Theriot? Yep, you read my mind. :roll: Please, find the last time I complained about Theriot.

Banninated. I'm going to kind of miss him come MLB draft time. The dude was a jerk, but he knew his stuff. He was so high up his pedestal you couldn't see him through the clouds Am I the only one who misses Meph? He was a jerk, but he was really a smart baseball fan, and if you could just ignore his arrogance he was a good read. I guess I'm just sad to see us lose the mind that figured out EQA. I kind of miss him too I just feel like the board was more exciting to read when Meph posted here. there were some fun arguments and i got a lot smarter with him. i found his personality funny although i never got on his bad side This is exactly how I feel.
