  1. Yeah, I'm still expecting some bad games, but this season has been so much fun. Next year is going to be really exciting.
  2. He's averaging 0.6 assists per game in his career, and I'm really not sure how he got it that high. I wish Paul George would stop getting in so much foul trouble.
  3. Texans Steelers Lions Giants Steelers over Patriots Ravens over Texans Packers over Lions Giants over 49ers Steelers over Ravens Giants over Packers Giants over Steelers
  4. It's happened before.
  5. How bad is Montero's defense at catcher? Is first base his only realistic option?
  6. Andrew Luck doesn't know how to win.
  7. I was worried Irsay had too much respect for Bill Polian to get rid of him. I didn't think it was likely, but I'm not that surprised. Yup. I figured Irsay liked continuity too much to fire Polian yet, but I'm not shocked by it either. In addition to his performance issues over the last few years, Bill Polian has had a beyond toxic relationship with the local media and has blatantly lied multiple times on his radio show this year to try to make himself look better. The interesting thing is that we knew Polian was taking Luck and had no interest in the trading the pick (with no idea if he was planning on bringing back Manning or not). Will the new GM? Was this part of the reason the Polians were fired? Tons of speculation right now. It'll be an interesting offseason to say the least. Really curious to see who will be the candidates for GM and coach. Fisher will obviously be discussed a lot.

  9. Excellent news.
  10. What's his name on ESPN (not Mortenson, the younger guy named Adam S...) metioned it this morning. It makes a ton of sense. Sheffter? Yes, thanks. I think Caldwell is pretty clueless, but not sure this was his fault either. It's not entirely his fault. The Polians built this awful team, but Caldwell is still one of the worst coaches in the league.
  11. They were also all 3-3 in the division with each team going 1-1 against the others. Denver won the tiebreaker by going 4-4 in the common opponents (i.e. against the NFC North and AFC East) while the Raiders and Chargers were both 3-5. Hahaha the AFC West is such a joke.
  12. Go Jaguars!
  13. They had some great stretches, but just really didn't seem up to the challenge. Zeller getting in foul trouble and Hulls' terrible shooting really killed them. The offense struggled to move the ball on way too many possessions. Frustrating game.
  14. He certainly wasn't great, but was he really that awful? .258/.322/.435/.757 BA/OBP/SLG/OPS, 24 HRs, 87 RBI and played a decent right field for 1 year/$4.5 million. According to B-R, Burnitz had a -0.9 WAR for the Cubs that year. So to answer your question, yeah...he was pretty bad. Fangraphs had him at a 1.9 WAR. I have no clue if one site is better than the other.
  15. This Pacers team is really fun to watch. I'm getting pretty excited for this year.
  16. Soto for Davis is not a good trade. I'm not really interested in any of those guys.
  17. Right. Winning the WS in 2011 was a completely unrelated event. Good to learn from a team that paid $227M for Soriano and Zambrano. #-o The Cards have only 5 years left with Holliday. My guess is 3-4 of those will be productive. That's pretty much what the Angels should get with AP as they are exactly the same age. But, with a ten year contract. You get that doncha? Sorry, just not sure how much needs to be explained to a guy who elects his governors for terms of ten to life. You haven't said anything intelligent in all your weird rambling, so maybe you should stop talking down to everyone. It's really embarrassing for you.
  18. Didn't expect elcaballo to do another Skip Bayless impression after that awful performance by Tebow, but whatever. It'd be pretty hilarious if Kyle Orton ended the Broncos season next week.
  19. John Skelton keeping his team alive.
  20. Man, Tim Tebow sure is a loser.
  21. Don't count out John Skelton's Cardinals.
  22. Dang, beaten to it.
  23. Is Chris Johnson the worst starting RB in the NFL?
  24. Might be time to pull the plug on the Gabbert experiment. He looks like Jimmy Clausen 2.0 (can't escape pressure, holds onto the ball too long) I was really happy when the Jaguars drafted him. Hope they're stubborn enough to give him another year or two, but they probably won't. I don't see how he could ever get much better.
  25. Not likely. He pretty much sucks.
