  1. I wouldn't go that far, but I don't think 8-8 would shock me. The only reason I say that is because their division is garbage.
  2. The Chiefs could go to the playoffs if they let Charles be the feature back. Too bad it'll probably take them half the year to fully comprehend Jones' mediocrity.
  3. I wonder if Todd Haley finally realizes Charles is a thousand times better than Jones.
  4. That's pretty unfunny.
  5. I hope I see someone wearing one of those "Summer Brees" jerseys so I can laugh at them.
  6. Why do NFL players need inspiration from Derek Fisher?
  7. Stafford. I really don't like Kolb in fantasy. Raw already answered and I'm leaning toward what he said, but I'd like to hear what others think. Start three, non PPR. Pierre Thomas Jamaal Charles Arian Foster Jahvid Best
  8. I'm pretty sure he's out for the year.
  9. I'd probably go Boldin, Harvin, and Bowe. I agree with what raw said about the first two, and I really, really like Bowe this year.
  10. Traded MJD, Carlson, and Brown(ugh) for Andre Johnson and Vernon Davis. So...what 3 RBs do I start this week? Thomas(MIN), Charles(SD), Foster(IND) or Best(CHI)? Leaning towards sitting Best.
  11. I could definitely see this happening. New England's D is going to be awful. I also think the Saints will lose their division and maybe even miss the playoffs, but that's probably just sour grapes.
  12. I'd do it in a heartbeat. Finley might be a number 1 TE this year if healthy. White is a top 5 receiver. You turn both positions into big strengths. Between Thomas, Best, Charles, Foster, you can easily cover for the loss of MJD. People keep saying MJD is going to wear down at some point anyways. And some people are touting Jahvid Best as Chris Johnson Jr. I can't believe you ended up with that team. Who did you draft against? Geez. My friends. It's a money league, so I wouldn't be too upset if I ran away with the title. But to be fair, we did draft awhile ago and most of those RBs had question marks. Haley was saying Charles would be the back up(I was smart enough to see through his evil trickery), Foster was still in a competition with Tate, and Thomas wasn't(and still kinda isn't) guaranteed a heavy workload. I am surprised that I got Brown so late considering all my friends are Colts fans. My friend pulled the trade before I could accept it. I'm gonna see if I can get Andre Johnson or something.
  13. Since I have so much RB depth, would trading MJD for Roddy White and Jermichael Finley be smart?
  14. Would he even be an improvement? From everything I've read, it sounds like he's broken.
  15. This is such drivel. Why can't you just be happy for me?
  16. I used the footballguys thing mentioned in the other thread. I like what it has to say.
  17. Keeper league. He's being kept. Okay then, Johnson.
  18. 12 team, non-PPR QB-Romo WR-Austin WR-Knox RB-MJD RB-Charles W/R-Pierre Thomas TE-Carlson K-Carpenter DEF-Dolphins Bench-Foster, Best, Mike Wallace, Roethlisberger, Stafford, Donald Brown, Jacoby Jones, Bernard Scott
  19. If those guys are available, then Austin should be too. Be unique and go for him.
  20. I really like it. I'm not a huge fan of Garçon as a WR2, but I think he'll be fine most weeks.
  21. Why not? Dusty Baker, Brad Hawpe, and Marcus Giles are much higher on the list.
  22. "Sammy Sosa hit like, a [expletive] ton of HRs. Everybody loved it, especially in 98. Turns out he used steroids, so now a bunch of self-righteous dicks like to pretend that they hated him all along, but they really loved it. In conclusion, Sammy was really [expletive] awesome, but old people will hate him because he used steroids instead of doing something more honorable like stabbing black people(see Cobb, Ty)." Do you think they'd accept something like that? Not like that, obviously, but an asterisk with something like "player used performance-enhancing drugs during playing career" underneath it. Can I fly out to Cooperstown to etch the asterisk in Hank Aaron's plaque? If you have proof he juiced, sure. He admitted to using amphetamines.
  23. It doesn't seem fair to blame Prior's mechanics for his injuries.
  24. A lot of people talk about losing faith in the game, but I still have no idea what that actually means. Would you like, stop believing that the game existed, or just come to the realization that most millionaires aren't ideal role models?
  25. If you put them in and there was proof they juiced, it should be mentioned on their HOF plaque.
