Haha, I can't even imagine anyone high up in the organization actually discussing something like this. An ESPN reporter probably overheard two janitors talking about how awesome the team would be with Pujols and the reporter decided it was valid enough. -

You are right. I know you didn't mean to be but working downtown where you meet a lot of people who live around New Orleans and talk to them everyday you learn about the city. I have been here almost 9 months and have worked at customer service jobs the whole time. I also went out and reported high school football and sat in crowd where many of them would still talk about Katrina and the city not being rebuilt. One of my roommates also has worked for the America Corps. out in the parishes for 2 years and I hear a lot about the people out there. SO yeah I would say I know how people in the city feel pretty well. Not as well as people who have lived here their whole lives but probably better than anyone on this board. Maybe, but maybe not. Do you actually think you know more about the city than him? Dude, he talks to people.

but what about the karma and hurricane katrina and who dat? And no mention of the Saints playing for a city(and the entire country) while the Colts are only playing for their own selfish pride? That Rosenthal fellow sure has some crazy ideas.

People that believe karma has an impact on football games are [expletive] morons. Also, I'm not going to claim to be an expert on karma, but from what I've learned from Fallout 3, you earn good karma for doing good deeds and bad karma for doing evil deeds. I don't think resting starters is an evil deed. An evil deed would be like eating a box full of puppies or something.

Jordin Sparks was on some local radio station this morning. Instead of singing Pants on the Ground, the hosts had her sing Saints on the Ground. Clever, eh? Please tell me Indiana is the only place where the Pants on the Ground thing is still mentioned.

The ONLY way to measure a QB is by Super Bowl wins. Anyone that thinks Marino was better than Dilfer doesn't know the first thing about football. If the Colts win it this year, does Jim Sorgi move into the top 10 all-time?
