    Bring it back!!! It's just not the same with the Cubs running out on the field to "Runnin' Down a Dream" or "It's a Beautiful Day." The two main songs I affiliate with the Cubs the most are "Jump" and The Romantics "What I like about You" Why?? I highly associate that with the 90's Bulls, but not the Cubs at all. Was it something before my time? a) you're older than me. b) Didn't WGN use it a ton in the early-to-mid 90s as their go-to song for Cubs commercials and such? I for some reason remember it that way.

    Just ran some numbers... Since all-star break, Marmol has pitched 19 2/3 innings, given up 4 hits, 1 run, 11 BBs, and 27 Ks. Everyone have full confidence again? All corrected. Walks still aren't great, but if he strands them.

    Traded for Harden on July 9th. So since July 9th, the Cubs are 22-12, 5-2 on days that he has pitched, and his record is 3-1, 2.04 era, 1.08 whip Incorrect. His record is 3-1, 1.50 ERA, 0.95 WHIP That is very correct. I took a quick glance and espn shows era and whip for the year. my bad.

    For the record, I never said this team is or is not "over the top great." I was just making a point of how some teams are remembered with a premium, but no WS winning team is discounted.

    Hit that one on the head. Teams might be remembered in brighter light by being over the top great, but noone discounts a team that won the World Series.
