  1. There's gotta be a tornado special somewhere...Full Schilling or Sports Corner often have some deals even on gamedays, cause we all know Murphy's and Harey's doesn't.
  2. I'm getting that as well. Storms and all runing our feed. You have RCN?
  3. Tornado warnings in western suburbs...if that's coming east we might be calling it a night
  4. Good amount of thunder (not horribly loud). Alot of lightening. Rain not hard, but consistent. Sever thunderstorm warning for another 20 minutes.
  5. I couldn't tell if it was the El or thunder at first, but as you can see on tv, it's pouring here.
  6. Has someone called him up this morning and see how he's feeling? I mean, I've got him on speed dial, but I'm a little busy.
  7. I was half right with these estimations.
  8. So this all-star pitcher is going to have a no-no against us.
  9. Or Gaudin. I was just thinking about this. Since he's only been used in single inning situations mainly so far for the Cubs, would he still be stretched out enough to go 3-4 innings if today gets crappy?
  10. Someone tell Pat and Ron that most people don't know what a fax machine is.
  11. The only things I know of WOW I learned from South Park.
  12. I hate the LaRoche's as much as I hate Russel Branyon and Xavier Nady
  13. New way for Lee to get DPs Line out to right, Fuku doubled off due to stealing 2nd
  14. Ask and I shall recieve, I guess.... "Threesome with Erin Andrews and Rachel Nichols....." :beg: Too late. Everybody gets one, and you used yours on the first inning of a Cubs-Pirates game in an already-decided division :) Hope it was worth it. Was that McClouth ball at the track or just before it? Pat made it sound kinda close
  15. I hope Marquis is happy and relaxed that he's still here (given he won't be on post-season roster again). Call me an optimist. 7 IP, 7 hits, 2 runs. Final: Cubs 6 Scallywags 3
  16. Here's a lesson for all you kids out there, can't be too careful with slumpbusters. If she ain't 280, she ain't a lady
  17. Ben Sheets gave away the game by giving up hits and walks. If only the Brewers had converted every single offensive opportunity, had a gold glove OF in left, and the Cubs swung at those pitches outside the strikezone, the outcome of the game would have been different. The Brewers really beat themselves tonight. If I was 7"11' I could play basketball. They had 1 offensive opportunity. No extra base hits. Braun really only played that 1 ball wrong, and it still woulda been a hit had he let it drop in front of him. The Cubs being patient at the plate is not reflective of the Brewers beating themselves either.
  18. I kinda like pitching Jeff here. More confidence. First time on the road. K on Fatty McFatswitch has to feel pretty good.
  19. Bottom line of argument against Z pitching more: Why risk it?
  20. You know Z is chompin at the bit to bat again here
