cubs were literally getting mvp level production from FIVE hitters for the first month or whatever. they were due for regression offensively. unfortunately this disaster bullpen and extremely thin rotation is gonna struggle to prop up the slumping offense. -

turner looks extremely cooked. they really need to do something about the non-amaya part of this bench. woof. -

another game where having absolute garbage at 3b is gonna cost them.

if the money the cubs tried to give to bregman goes to a tucker extension, i'll be a little more ok with the five (?) headed platoon of the worst possible 3b production you can imagine. but if this was the cubs "go for it" year and they are wasting their one year of tucker with a bullpen full of hopes and dreams and a bunch of garbage at 3b, that's gonna be real bad.
