turner looks extremely cooked. they really need to do something about the non-amaya part of this bench. woof. -
guessing there haven’t been a lot of “0 ip, 9 runs allowed” lines by a RP in an extra inning game throughout the course of mlb history.

shoulda ph turner for busch there. he would have at least made skenes throw like 5 pitches before k'ing.

truly amazing how often the dog horsefeathers 3b platoon factors into close losses.

another game where having absolute garbage at 3b is gonna cost them.

if the money the cubs tried to give to bregman goes to a tucker extension, i'll be a little more ok with the five (?) headed platoon of the worst possible 3b production you can imagine. but if this was the cubs "go for it" year and they are wasting their one year of tucker with a bullpen full of hopes and dreams and a bunch of garbage at 3b, that's gonna be real bad.

know this offense is a juggernaut and stuff, but they sure seem to suck at the "guy on 3rd, less than two outs" thing.

on the bright side, hernandez’ hit came on an absolute meatball so that could have been four runs instead of two. -
has there been a worse/more damaging player in mlb than workman? three errors (all of which immediately led to runs), plus the “double” he biffed the other day in extras that lost them the game. he also has one hit vs a non-position player.
