  4. never count on winning road games vs the padres and they already banked a tolerable 6 game swing with the dodgers series, but holy moly these last two games have been very poorly played.
  5. I know the options are prob limited tonight but this stiff vs the top of the order is not gonna work.
  6. this dude loves nothing more than walking the horsefeathers leadoff hitter. enough of him already.

  8. are you horsefeathers kidding me with those three abs
  9. nico bails out swanson and his atrocious ab.

  12. pretty low bar if that’s considered a good ab
  13. whew thank goodness counsell kept that bat in the lineup. chances are cubs lose extra inning game of colin rea vs good relievers anyway, but counsell was really terrible. didn’t let Nico steal ahead of the PCA bunt and left the 40 year old DH in the game defensively when the actual good defensive 1b had entered the game. woof.
  14. super genius counsell really horsefeathered this game up. why leave turner in once you’ve brought Busch into the game.
  15. nothing this pen loves more than walking the first guy they face
  16. not enjoying the caleb thielbar experience so far

  18. pearson walked leadoff hitter in 6th pearson walked leadoff hitter in 7th thielbar walked first batter he faced in 7th theilbar walked leadoff hitter in 8th
  19. cubs have to lead mlb in reliever walking first batter faced % since start of 2024.
  20. this dude should not be in the circle of trust, let alone a multi-inning guy.
  21. don't often see a guy with an era of 7 get the leash to make 20 starts.
  22. the cubs are under .500 with a $220 mil payroll. “pathetic” seems about right. .
  23. by all means keep pinch hitting for the best (?) hitter on the team with a 32 year guy hitting .190. gonna seem so smart when it works for the first time on try #38.
