    I mean that is annoying, but I’ll take 6 ip, 2 er from Rea every time. they lost because PCA is in a real mike trout situation right now and nico is too horsefeathers dumb to understand leverage.

    as cool as it is to see PCA walk three times a game (and I realize the cubs need soooo much pitching), it would be very nice to add another offensive superstar to this lineup. a lineup of PCA and a bunch of guys that are technically above league average but all by like 7% is a slight bummer, especially if PCA does this every season

    it’s dumb baseball just like forgetting how many outs there, throwing to the wrong base, missing cutoff man, etc is dumb baseball. they’ve had enough experience with ABS at this point that there is no excuse for screwing up like that.

    the challenge system has really emphasized to me how like 99% of these guys are the absolute dumbest of jocks. just zero understanding of leverage.

    not watching, but it appears as though Nico failed to challenge the 3-0 pitch, which should have been ball 4 and tied the game?

    PCA just on another planet relative to the rest of the cubs lineup. works a 10 pitch walk, and then the next two guys (the cubs next best hitters) k on 6 pitches.

    anybody having issues watching this on the app/desktop? asks me to create a marquee profile and either gives me an error message or spins.

    yeah but those things happen when you strike out 3 per 9 or whatever.

    hopefully enough trades get done/guys get healthy that the guy with a 1/1 k/bb won’t be anywhere near a playoff roster, but that’s a brutal loss with the chance to get within 5 of the brewers right there for the taking.
