    man, you are bitter. no he doesn't... you are just pissed that he just beat your team. he didn't. The referees did. ah geez. C'mon. Let's get real and realize that had the refs made that call correctly, the rest of the game would not have progressed exactly as it did. Everytime there is a "refs screwed us" argument people always assume an "all thing being equal" mentality. You can't just take out that one play and assume the rst of the game stays as is i don't know...after watching vince young run roughshod all over usc's defense for the entire game, i really don't think texas would have scored once they had 1st and 10 at the 12. usc showed that they could really put the brakes on young inside the 20. your right, the refs should have just called a Texas TD anytime Texas got inside the 20. In addition, after the first several USC possessions in the 2nd half, they should have just given USC an automatic TD whenever they gained posession of the ball. yep...that's exactly what i said.

    Seriously. It looked like he might've been able to tightrope the sidelines and go for it. I'd like to see a replay. He was probably too concerned about the time (or getting tackled inbounds) I think it was a designed play to get 39 yards and get out of bounds. He could have cutback and had a lot more ground I think. If he gets tackled though, they have a long run to spike the ball. Losing that TO killed his options. i really don't think he should have gone for it, but it would have been damn fun to watch.

    agreed. i was mad that isu didn't make the B12 title game, but they would have lost by 1,000. that was almost a miracle catch.

    If I were an NFL GM, I would take Young over Leinart without a nanosecond of hesitation. except young can't throw Vince Young is Michael Vick without the ability to throw. If he gets a coach that can get rid of that side arm crap, he might be worth something. Otherwise, he's a great athlete without a position (maybe WR, but I'm not sure). i haven't been at all impressed w/ vick as an NFL qb. he's got a strong arm, but he hasn't turned himself into a real effective NFL passer.

    Do you think he's an amazing athlete or an amazing QB? first and foremost, an athlete. and he certainly hasn't looked bad as a QB tonight, but he hasn't had to make a lot of challenging throws.

To be fair, they have called almost nothing tonight as a penalty. also, please note texas's gift td To be fair, the people in the replay booth should had gotten the officials attention and do a review. Why that wasn't reviewed, I have no idea. and it's not like texas wouldn't have scored had he been ruled down. don't miss this...i hate it when missed FG's decide games.

    It's chickens--t officiating. They are afraid of changing the game with a call. those c-usa refs in the outback bowl certainly didn't have that fear.

    there will be people along the road selling tickets, but i don't know how reliable those tickets are or how good they are. i'm pretty sure that most games sell out, so i don't know what kind of luck you'd have walking up to the ticket window 30 minutes before the game. tickets at other stadiums are easier to get...especially if the cubs aren't involved. we had our feet on the 1st base dugout for a brewers-rangers game one year and we bought our tickets two hours before the game started. that likely won't happen if the cubs are involved, however.

    there's a good chance wilson will outproduce murton, so i wouldn't mind starting wilson in left and making murton the big name prospect in a tejada deal.

    if he misses time this year, it's not his fault. the cubs were flat out fools for pitching him out of the pen last year, and that's the reason he won't be ready by ST.

    that would be a good deal for the pirates. not so much for the cubs. but since they seem so hell bent on getting rid of walker, anybody that they get to keep jones off the field is fine by me.
