    is there anyone in their right mind that cares that Bartman is attending a game, he was in the wrong place at the wrong time. I see it as any other Cubs fan.

    No doubt, WHEN Harden's healthy, he's one of the best. I honestly believe that when they are both at their game, Harden beats Zambrano.

    ESPN just called SC SC/Monday Night Baseball so it seems as though we will get to see the game nationally. Update after the break is what they said.

    I don't ever remember Dempster using a splitter before. Is this the first year using it? I always remember him being fastball/slider.

    This probably isn't the right weekend to make this statement. Which is strange. When he came over from Texas, they said RF was his best natural position. Yet with the Cubs, it's been 3rd base, then 2nd base, then the OF. Either way, I have been very happy to have DeRosa play adequate defense wherever he has been put. And I would agree that he has looked better at Third than anywhere else.

    Check the score online. My dad has been promising EI for about 3 years now, I've given up thinking he'll ever get it.

    Now I could be wrong, but he appears to be much better at driving the fastball inside. Pitches and scouts are bound to figure this out, no?

    Just as a suggestion, for a short period of time (such as a week or so) you might say something like "formerly MurtonFan" in your signature. Many posters have done that when changing usernames to help people keep up with changes.Jon mentioned that, so I did.Aha; I must have just overlooked it before.I don't think so, I did it when I read the message from Jon which was probably after your post.

    I don't think you can ever have enough starting pitching, both Lilly and Marquis are more than shakey. If we could eliminate one or both(trade and or Hill) of them, we'd be set.

    I'll go with DeRosa. It's been great that when someone goes down, DeRosa can play their and look like a natural at any defenseive position.

    This is ridiculous, Marshall's last two starts were quality starts and he pitched well enough for the win in both of them.

    All I know is an article from Cubs.com has Marshall on Saturday and Marquis on Friday.

    The latter is actually my favorite soda. But at a dollar a pop instead of the 50 cents I pay for a Wild Cherry, I don't drink it much.

    Went with Dempster. Between the mid 90's heat and the slider along with secondary pitches, all he needs is a day of good control and I think he could do it.

    Marshall. Dude has more than proved his worth as a starter last year. Furthermore, his last outing against the White Sox was rather well. One thing that puzzles me is why he doesn't throw his curve more.
