  1. The slump is because Ryan is not a particularly great baseball player. I was as excited about him in April and May as anyone but he's come back to earth. If anyone was going to lead off, I'd have DLee do it, but I'm perfectly fine with the Fonz there. The kid (Ryan) can hit. Period.
  2. I am aware, but i thought people here would be more intelligent.
  3. He has the majority of his homers being of the solo variety, that's a waste of talent. And need I remind you of the slump of Theriot which has drastically hurt his numbers. And the slump is part on Gerald Perry. The slump was only due to a problem in the coordination of Ryan's shoulders. A good hitting coach would have solved that immediately.
  4. It could work but it is a waste of money.
  5. I believe he is rehabbing but i could be wrong. Try asking Raisin he knows about the minor leagues.
  6. I think your team is good as is.
  7. Theriot is a prototypical leadoff hitter, and Alfonso leading off is a waste of his talent.
  8. I'm using this poll because i'd like to see how many people are eager to see Sori stop leading off.
  9. Before today's 0-1 PH appearance by Theriot, he was finding his mark at the plate the two previous games. HOwever you just couldn't sit Fontenot or DeRosa
  10. Agreed. Perhaps he should ask the Brewers hitters they're doing a good job today.
  11. I like the smartarse one.
  12. True a real front page blog would be cool. But what do I know i'm the new guy.
  13. I like the idea of trading him to Detroit or some other team that needs bullpen help. He's a "proven closer" to some extent and could be dealt now (after he's been back for a little while) for real value. I have to agree, if Marmol does well then Dempster could bring in good player(s).
  14. No it's not a joke.
  15. Yes as long as he's gone.
  16. Surely this is a joke.
  17. Anyone know where Tyler Colvin is, and how he's doing?
  18. Hill will be dominating with the curveball and so will Marshall. We win 2 out of 3. WINNING IS AWESOME!!! We need to do more of it.
  19. Rich Hill, K-Rod, A-Rod, The-Riot, and Ichiro i got speed leadership defense, oh yea and the best closer in the game. can't beat it.
