  1. Marshall does not deserve it over Z. Marshall is better skill wise and stat wise hah, you must be out of your mind...do you really think marshall has better skills than Z? Marshall is way more consistent and and has way more control, something z seemingly can't buy Marshall has been in the majors for about a year-4/5 of a season last year, and 1/5 of a season this year. Only the 1/5 of the season this year has been good-I'm not sure how you can call him consistent yet. Z is the only pitcher in the major leagues to be in the top 15 of ERA every year for the last 4-how much more consistent can you get than that? With the way he's pitching lately, he could make it 5 in a row. i didn't say marshall was consistent i said he's more consistent than z
  2. If we had two Matt Murtons and two Sean Marshalls, I would trade all four for Saltalamacchia. That would be ridiculous, Murton is patient at the plate and hits alot of doubles which will turn into homers, he also is a smart baserunner, not fast but smart. Marchall's curve is very good and he can hit a dime 60 feat away, his control is astounding. I won't address the other points (although I would take minor issue with some of them) but Murton is not a particularly smart baserunner. For example, he stopped at 3rd base when he could have scored easily for no real reason at all, and then got stranded there 4-5 times this year (including the game where he stopped at 3rd on a single that should have scored him, then a wild pitch should have scored him, but he just stood there and watched it). he has to listen Mike quade, something that is very hard to do, Quade sucks, he holds everyone

Marshall is way more consistent and and has way more control, something z seemingly can't buy I think I'd hold off on saying that until Marshall has the last 3-4 years Z has had. Because otherwise thats complete crap. Zambran couldn't hit the side of a red barn and his stats prove it, he led the league in walks

  6. Murton is playing RF in the minors. How has he been doing? Team League AVG G AB R H 2B 3B HR RBI TB BB SO SBCSOBPSLGOPS IOW PCL .305 16 59 15 18 7 0 1 7 28 8 7 1 0 .406 .475 .880 Nice! How about defensively? 46 errors. very funny, there's no doubt he isn't a gold glove or even close but he still seems an everyday player to me. and to professional scouts

  8. I voted for Raisin, he knows about the minor leagues more.
  9. Saltalamacchia is good but i don't think he is worth giving up Murton and Marshall. I see a good future in both.
  10. WE WANT HILL OR MARSHALL, i know they're last starts weren't quality but hey come on, they deserve it over Z
  11. i said nl but that's just optimism i really don't think they'll win
  12. Yup 3-4 with 3 doubles and 3 runs, keep it going. Now we just need Murton :!:
  13. Hopefully jj and Cesar are gone!!!! :D :) :P :!: :!: :!:
  14. Not too bad. Bowen can't hit and Pagan is hitting better right now than Pie. Me like. Is it just me or is Pie close to a send down, he has been getting less and less starts.
  15. I'd rather he just leave the homerun record as is and just go the hell away now. It we're talking about what we want, I'd like to see someone roll up Bonds' leg and explode his knee. But on the realistic side, I just want him to go away ASAP. I'm curious, it seems like every Bonds blast the Giants lose. can anyone provide me with the stats With today's, the Giants are 8-7 when he homers. For a team that loses most of that time, that's pretty good. thanks though that doesn't seem right after what i've seen but thanks, you proved me and my dad wrong

  17. You know you may have just persuaded me.
  18. It requires more intelligence than any from everyone, the players and coaches/managers/owners
  19. i think so, but i dont know why youd want a picture of a woman doing that as your av a woman?
  20. Nah, I agree. The 2nd and 3rd weren't pretty, but he didn't allow any more runs and still ended up striking out 5. He kept the team in the game for the next two innings. I like Hill, but when a starter only goes three innings, there's nothing positive about that. I'm not going to go off on a Rich Hill sucks tangent, because that's ridiculous, nor will I question his desire or any overreaction like that. But, to try to put any positive spin on his start today is pretty silly. He was bad. Did he confine the damage to one inning? Yes. But he still pitched so poorly that he left trailing by a huge amount and forced the bullpen to be perfect. Had he given up five and then held the Brewers scoreless into the fifth or sixth, then more props could be given. But he got lit up, had another bad inning, and had to be lifted after only three innings. In no metric, no book, no where is that a good outing. Will he rebound? I surely hope so. But just because many of us like Hill, I think it's a bit ludicrous to try to say anything positive about this start. If Marquis lasted three innings while allowing five runs, I doubt anyone here would try to give him credit for throwing two scoreless innings after giving up five in the first. The simple truth: Hill sucked today. It happens to a lot of pitchers. Hopefully, Hill gets his act together over the next four days. I know he can do it, but he definitely wasn't a good pitcher today. Well put. couldn't put it any better
  21. strange try refreshing you pc it worked for me and rocketsauce is seeing it regular
  22. i changed it, did it work? and yes 5-5 is clutch no matter how you put it still 1-6 isn't a good day even with a game winner So if it's so easy to get at least 2 hits in 6 at bats then why doesn't everyone have at least a .333 batting average? And anyone that doesn't, they must not be "clutch". it's not about ba it's because he was 0-5 before that so it wouldn't be as bad if he started the game 1-5 and he made an out in the bottom of the 9th? i don't get the point you're making. is it a problem if someone doesn't get a hit their 1st 3 at bats, but finishes the game 2-5? When i talked about clutch it's because Andy said he can't hit clutch then they made the argument about the walkoff hit, 1-6 isn't a good day. But i had no intention of talking about that i was making reference to andy sayin he can't it in the clutch
  23. i changed it, did it work? and yes 5-5 is clutch no matter how you put it still 1-6 isn't a good day even with a game winner No, it's still ginormous. darn on my computer it's down to size, any ideas as to what to do take it off completely would probably be one solution. it's fixed now
