  1. I'll take K Nate Kaeding and WR Ted Ginn Jr.
  2. Kent lined out? Come on Manny!
  3. Judging by your reactions I was sure kemp got picked off first or thrown out trying to steal
  4. Wowwwwwwww. And GameCast is so slow. I dont know how people follow games like this.
  5. Kent, Ramirez, Loney due up. Get at least 1 here.
  6. Might want to re-do that pick, burnt. Can the commish add the players to the teams now? Or at least add one to each team and we'll all add the rest ourselves.
  7. There are plenty of options available. All depends on how much money we have. We could go cheap and have a Pie/Johnson CF platoon or we could sign a corner outfielder and move Fukudome to CF. Then use Pie as a trading chip to fill another hole. As someone already mentioned, Rollins is also a possibility. Philly is getting very tired of him and I don't think it would take much more than Theriot to get him. Theriot is having a great year and is cheaper and slightly younger so I don't see this really happening. However, Rollins is a better defender, better hitter, and better base stealer so I wouldn't mind seeing it happen.
  8. How in the hell did you notice that? Do you just randomly add up numbers you see?
  9. This year just seems too perfect.
  10. QB- Jay Cutler RB- Ronny Brown RB- Jamal Lewis WR- Andre Johnson WR- Roddy White TE- Antonio Gates K- Nate Kaeding DEF- Minnesota Vikings FL- Darren McFadden BN- Matt Forte BN- Eli Manning BN- Joey Galloway BN- Hines Ward BN- Ted Ginn Jr.
  11. He would have to have a HUGE rest of August and September to be legitimately considered. I take team success into account (whether that's right or wrong), and would therefore put Hanley Ramirez, David Wright, Chase Utley, and Ryan Braun. Maybe Aramis or Soriano can sneak into the discussion with a big final month and a half. If you don't care about team success (allow players from non-playoff teams to win it) then the race is down to Berkman, Pujols, and Holliday.
  12. Please be okay, please be okay, please be okay.
  13. I'm guessing Fukudome sits game 2. Maybe Theriot or Lee as well?
  14. I'll take WR Joey Galloway TB and Eli Manning, QB of the New York Football Giants.
  15. Housh Welker Young
  16. He's from San Diego. So? His list is 8 teams right? Why on earth would the Red Sox be one of them? There are so many worse teams to play for and worse cities to live in. You'd think he'd be tired of all the losing in Pitt and now SD and would want a chance for a world series. There are other places he can go to get a chance at a World Series - Boston isn't the only option. Maybe he just doesn't like Boston. No, I get that. I just don't understand why a team like the Reds, Royals, or Blue Jays would not be on there, but Boston would. Obviously there's something about Boston or the Red Sox that he really doesn't like and I'm just curious as to what that is. That's all.

  18. I'd really like to know why Giles doesn't want to play in Boston.
  19. I'll take WR Hines Ward and QB Jay Cutler.
  20. What? A jock who was a jerk in high school? Madness. Most overblown and overplayed stereotype in teen movies. Truth. It's pretty cool though seeing someone you know get traded to the Cubs. Hopefully he makes it to the bigs.
  21. Went to high school and graduated with Brian Schlitter. He's a pretty big dbag.
  22. No, not all. Some I invited from other leagues I've been in and some have been around in leagues with me so logn that I don't even remember where I first found them from. To be honest, I don't even remember who's from here and who isn't.
  23. In other words, PERFECT GAME ALERT!!!!!!!! Soriano hopping to make the catch near the bullpen mound is scary. He seriously needs to stop doing that. I have no problem with him doing it out in the middle of left field. But when he's 5 feet away from a raised pitching mound, I'd rather he not. Didn't he tweak his hammy earlier this year doing that? And he kept doing it when he came back. It's maddening! It was his calf. However, the hop was very unlikely to be the reason for it.
