  1. Let's go D! I see a big play coming here.
  2. I don't understand how you can say that. Maybe they should be dissapointed with their play, but they have given up 9 points and havent let the Vikings in the end zome. because their tackling has been very poor. the stats dont show how bad they've played.
  3. how has the viking Offense only put up 9 points on the Bears D today? They cant tackle anybody.
  4. what was that!!!!?!!??!/dfkjd?!
  5. bears are gonna need to put one in the endzone if they wanna walk out of here 3-0
  6. :( I wouldn't blame it all on Grossman. He isn't as bad as he's looked today and he isn't nearly as good as he looked the first two weeks. He's had very little time, no running game, and horrible play calling. Not to mention a very improved and aggressive Vikes D and playing in the dome. Yea, but the second I posted that, he woke up and completed a few big passes, sooo... Let's see if the bum can actually put one in the end zone today. True. Keep throwing down the :(

  8. Last time I bet on the Bears...
  9. It's pretty hard to compare something like runs scored when Posednik plays for a team with an outstanding offense (with a DH) and Pierre plays for a team with a pitiful offense. Put Konerko, Thome, and Dye in the Cubs' lineup and Pierre would have more runs scored. Also, there has been talk of going after Soriano for CF. I wasn't comparing Pierre and Podsednik to see who has had a better season. I just was trying to give a basis for comparison to show how mediocre Pierre has been this year and show that despite this very ordinary season, the Cubs are willing to offer him a multi-year deal. Couldn't Matt Murton equal these numbers in the leadoff slot at a fraction of the cost? I think Murton could far exceed those numbers, while many times cheaper. Here is the comparison, and this is Murton's first full year: AVG (Pierre's strongest stat): Murton +.011 OBP: Murton +.034 SLG: Murton +.061 And in 235 less at bats, Murton has 10 more home runs, 23 more RBI's, and only 18 less runs scored. Put Murton at leadoff or the 2 spot for a whole season and he will dominate Pierre's stats while making like 20 times less. But he doesn't have the speed to steal bases
  10. I wouldn't consider Green Bay over Detroit an upset. They are both horrible. I wouldn't call Tennessee over Miami an upset either. Miami is garbage. i hate you that doesnt count as attacking the poster, does it? Oh yeah, and it would be an upset considering Vegas has Miami as a 10.5 point favorite, I believe. So technically it would be the biggest upset.
  11. I'd be interested in Gates for the right price. I got some decent RBs and WRs. Shaun and Rudi are off-limits but anyone else could go. Let me know if you see something you're interested in.
  12. Well for the difference in salary, I think it would be worth it to go with Marshall or Guzman than signing Zito or Schmidt and another starter. However, if we could get Gil Meche signed to a decent contract, I wouldn't be opposed to that.
