18 Team, H2H league. Categories: R, 1B, 2B, 3B, HR, RBI, SB, AVG, OBP, IP, W, L, CG, SHO, SV, K, HLD, ERA, WHIP, K/9 Biggest thing about this league is that there's a 50 IP minimum for each week. And with 18 teams out there, that's gonna be tough for some teams to do. Anyways, here's my team: C-Brian McCann 1B-Justin Morneau 2B-Robinson Cano SS-Stephen Drew 3B-Joe Crede OF-Austin Kearns OF-Matt Murton OF-Chris Duncan (1B) Util-Jason Giambi Bench-David DeJesus (OF) Bench-Kevin Youkilis (1B, 3B, OF) Bench-Reed Johnson (OF) Bench-Akinori Iwamura (3B) SP-Johan Santana SP-Daisuke Matsuzaka SP-Rich Harden SP-Rich Hill RP-Mike Gonzalez RP-Rafael Soriano P-David Weathers P-Anthony Reyes P-Gil Meche DL-Luis Ayala I put Ayala to the DL so I have an empty spot. I only have 6 starters so I'm thinking of adding another SP or two so that I can ensure that I'll reach 50 innings each week. I obviously decided to punt saves and steals. It was such a big league and there are plenty of categories so I thought it was the best idea. Anyways, what are the thoughts of the team. I think I did decent. Maybe I drafted too much SP early, but I think I'll dominate pitching every week. That's not a bad staff for a regular 12 team leauge, so just imagine how good it could be in an 18 team league. Some SP on the waiver wire are Ricky Nolasco, Juan Cruz (is he even starting?), Matt Morris, Tom Gorzalanny, Eric Milton, Tomo Ohka, Paul Byrd, Horacio Ramirez, Tony Armas, Jeff Weaver, Randy Wolf, and Matt Garza (starting the year in AAA). So yeah...not much.
