Thats probably because the White Sox are going to be horrible this year. And the D-Backs are my favorites to win the West. I don't know if that says more about the talent of the D-Backs or less about the NL West.

Yeah, I was about to take Conor Jackson too, but he went the pick right before I was going to take him. It was more to use as trade bait at some point because I already had Giambi and Morneau. I'm hoping Drew just puts up decent numbers. The OBP on my team is sick. The only weak link in that category is Joe Crede. Stupid White Sox players!

And with 18 teams out there, that's gonna be tough for some teams to do. I only have 6 starters so I'm thinking of adding another SP or two so that I can ensure that I'll reach 50 innings each week. I obviously decided to punt saves and steals. Some SP on the waiver wire are Ricky Nolasco, Juan Cruz (is he even starting?), Matt Morris, Tom Gorzalanny, Eric Milton, Tomo Ohka, Paul Byrd, Horacio Ramirez, Tony Armas, Jeff Weaver, Randy Wolf, and Matt Garza (starting the year in AAA). So yeah...not much.

Bulls look good early. Passing the ball VERY well so far. Up 19-11 with a little over 4 minutes remaining in the first quarter. The defense is playing awesome as well.

I created a fantasy league with the ID# 283139 and password baseball. I'm currently only in 2 dynasty leagues and wanted to do a yearly leauge with a draft. The time is Friday morning at 11am (CST). It's a 16 team league. If you're interested then feel free to join.

Why I'm reading the problems of some other fantasy league, I do not know. However, the guy who's ID is locked can create a new ID and the commish can email yahoo to get the old ID switched with the new one. One of my dynasty leagues has had to do this multiple times because of people quitting and being inactive.

Teahen is playing the OF and Gordon 3B.

I see the Dolphins making a run at Carr, just like they did with Harrington. I don't believe Culpepper is fully healthy, and he's also getting up there in age. If he goes there, Carr should have an early shot at starting behind a line that is atleast a little better than Houston's. He'll also get to work with Cam Cameron who previously got to work with Brees and Rivers. Haven't the Dolphins rumored to be interested in Trent Green also? I believe so, they've also been rumored to be interested in Quinn if he falls that far. I guess they're really unhappy with Culpepper, and aren't sold on Lemon either. I think the best scenario for them is to sign Carr, and draft Brown. That will give them a decent young QB, and a good LT for that OL. Next year's draft will be deep with QBs (Brohm, Booty, Henne, Brennan plus any underclassmen that may declare) so passing on one this year is wise IMO. Yeah. I see them signing Carr and drafting an O Lineman or possibly trading down. They could use youth at a lot of positions, so trading down might be the best option.

Yeah, I have 7 out of 8 as well and all final 4 teams left. I need UNC and UCLA to win their games.

USC with a major choke job here. they were rolling and now on the verge of getting blown out. Crazy There have been much larger choke jobs this tourney, but I'd agree. Foul trouble killed them though. USC doesn't have the depth that UNC does, and that has shown in the 2nd half.

Yeah. If I was a stud baseball player and the Cubs offered me long term security, while still making $25MIL+ I'd be the happiest person on the face of the earth. I wouldn't care if I could make twice as much if I wait it out.

But if you even do blow out your leg, you'll still get plenty of opportunities to come back and get paid. I don't really see it (waiting out another year) as too big of a risk. But either way, $25 MIL+ is way more than I would need in a lifetime.

Thank god for this thread. I thought the games didn't start till 7 central for some reason. At least I only missed half of the 1st half.

I like it too. Why did McCann request that the final year be a team option instead of guaranteed? Very strange in today's game, but I admire the selflessness.
