  1. So its a foul when Deng does it but not when Jason Kidd does? Not saying it isn't a foul. Just call it both ways, please.
  2. Coming out playing better. Let's hope it continues.
  3. Cleveland has pulled away. It was a 3 point game at one point in the 3rd. Maybe even less. Too bad....
  4. They haven't looked good. But I wouldnt say that. Just look at 'em. Obviously if they play like this the rest of the way, they are gonna get killed. However, I expect the Bulls to play better and the Nets to play worse. I ain't seein' it. This is the grand palace of suck. Down to 7 at least.
  5. How bout we move the ball around and run our offense so we can get a decent shot.

  8. This is frickin ridiculous. Let's go. Duhon, you suck.
  9. We aren't getting help from the Bucks. We're gonna have to do this ourselves.
  10. You can always find playing time for a guy of Durant's ability.
  11. Why move Murton to RF and Jacque to LF? I don't really get it. Maybe they want to get Murt some starts in RF so that they can move JJ if a good deal comes around?
  12. Yeah, my expectations for this team are very high. I think they are the team to beat in the East and have a very good shot at making it to the finals.
  13. Lilly and Hill have be very impressive this year. All 5 of their combined starts have been QS, I believe.
  14. Gallagher, Veal, and Samardzija!
  15. I find this hilarious. Would you rather have Tyrus' and Wallace's combined 11.5/14.5 or Curry's 19 and 7? Not to mention the blocks, steals, and intangibles that Ben and TT bring to the table. We have enough scoring from Loul/BG/Kirk. I am pretty comfortable in saying that we would be a worse team if we had stuck with Eddy. I forgot that TT came in that deal. I like Aldridge - I wonder who becomes the better player. But remember that if the Bulls had Eddy the outside would open up even more for Ben. He might score more. If the Bulls somehow manage a good draft pick from the Knicks then the trade is even better. But straight up, I'd take Eddy over Big Ben. Yeah, but that's not the question. (And even that claim is debatable). Would you rather have TT, Wallace, Sweetney (lol), and the Knicks pick this year or Eddy Curry? The answer is simple for me. I'd rather have Thomas alone than Curry.
  16. You don't think they'd trade KG (who wants out) for a young stud like Durant? They obviously need to go in a new direction.
  17. This is a joke right? Kevin Durant could outplay Luol Deng right now. Let alone in two years when he is a legit 30 point a night guy who can actually break his man down on the dribble. While that may be true, Luol Deng is pretty close to becoming a star. He's already a very solid player and he's still going to get a lot better. They want to stretch his shot out to the 3 point line this summer. You are going to see a very scary Luol Deng next year. That said, if the Bulls somehow managed to win the 2nd pick, I'd try to swing a deal with whoever wins Number 1 to get Oden. If that isn't possible, take Durant or possibly trade the pick (and high salary...Ben Wallace?) for KG. Nope. If we get a top two pick, I don't want a guy in the wrong side of his career. I'm a huge KG fan, but I'm not giving up Oden/Durant for him. If you don't give me LBJ, Kobe, Wade, or Duncan, you're not getting our pick. Oden and Durant are going to become elite players in the league. That is true, and I'd probably not do the deal. I just can't help but think KG on this team (without losing Deng, Gordon, Hinrich, Noc, Thabo, TT, etc...) makes us favorites to win the East and possibly favorites over Dallas, Pheonix, and San Antonio. I don't think you can facilitate a KG deal without one or two of the core guys being in it. Minnesota's asking price was pretty ridiculous from what I've heard. I don't think it's a secret that KG wants out of there because of how upset he is with management, but they're still going to try to get a real good deal out of it. I don't see Paxson trading Big Ben after we just signed him last offseason and I don't see Minnesota wanting Wallace either. If we do end up with a top two pick, I'd be ecstatic with the team we'd have. Oden/Durant, Big Ben, Nocioni, Deng, Gordon, Hinrich, Thomas, and Thabo are your main guys. I'd say that team would be a good enough team to compete for several titles without having to make a trade. Of course, this is all premature thinking in that we win the lottery or get the second pick. Yeah, haha. I think Minnesota would do the trade though. KG doesn't want to be there. IMO they'd put up with a few years of Ben Wallace if they get to draft Kevin Durant. However, like you said, it's hard to give up a chance to draft a young player with as much talent as Durant for a guy who's been around a while. All this probably doesn't matter, because I doubt the Bulls get a top 2 pick. Doesn't hurt to dream though.

Durant might do that for us too, but probably not as a rookie.
  19. If limited means 19ppg and 7rpg, while shooting .519% from the field and playing solid defense as a 21/22 year old, I'll take it. Yeah, Durant can be VERY good, but Luol already is. Both are solid, young players that I would love to have on the team. Let's just hope the Knicks continue to slide and we get a little lucky...oh yeah, and win the eastern conference championship this year.

  21. I'm predicting 5th. Cleveland Minnesota Detroit KC Sox The top 3 could really finish in any order. Those 3 teams are VERY good and I think the Royals are gonna surprise some people. They may not have the pitching, but that offense is going to be pretty good.
  22. I think Skiles knows Tyrus is ready to be a big contributor on this team. I don't see his minutes getting drastically cut when Noc is back. It'll be nice to actually have some firepower off the bench again.
