Am I imagining things, or did it look like Harden was asking Zambrano "who was that guy" as Cedeno walked past him.

Right now, I feel completely calm with Harden pitching, even if he's in a bit of a jam. It's a bit like when Marmol was in his prime and he'd walk two batters in a row with no outs. I knew he'd get out of it. I know what you mean. when Lilly or Marquis or whoever get into that kind of situation, I get nervous. With him, Im just thinking he'll get out of it. I guess the 7 run lead against the Giants could be partially responsible for that, but still.

I wouldnt mind keeping him in for 1 more inning, just because hes that fun to watch. I woulnt mind getting my first look at Gaudin today as well.

This team has been so much of a cohesive unit that I dont know if anyone can be truely pinpointed as the MVP.

Hill wasnt sent to Mesa to dominate. he was sent to find the strike zone. The dominance is just a plus.

Everyone keeps talking about Ben Sheets and CC Sabthias off seasons. More than likely, the Brewers wont even try to compete with the mega deals teams like the Yankees, Red Sox, Mets, and Phillies will be offering these guys, but nobody seems to mention Dempster. If his second half is anything near his first half, I cant imagine him not at least testing free agency. Granted, we have more money than the Brewers, but still a lot of teams will be looking at him. Im sure could afford him, and make a competitive offer, but will we try? Zambrano is inked for quite some time. We'll have Harden, Lilly, and Marquis for at least 1 more year, plus the emerging Marshall, Hill, and maybe Samardzjia, Veal, and Atkins down on the farm. Will the Cubs under the new ownership consider Demp to be worth what some of these other teams might be willing to offer him?

Good Rich Hill would make one hell of a #5 on this staff.
