Last night, I was in scrap the team mode. Now, that Im in a more rational state of mind, I say changes need to be made. If there was a way to get a mutual opt out between the Cubs and Kosuke, Id be all for it. Probably not going to happen though Biggest needs -legit number 3 or 4 hitter -middle reliever to get us to Marmol/Wood -starter-be it Ryan Dempster or go after someone else, like CC, Lowe, or Peavy Players rumerd available through trade-Matt Holliday, Jose Reyes, Carlos Beltran, Eric Byrnes, Jake Peavy Available free agents-Adam Dunn, MIlton Bradley, CC Sabathia, not sure who else Tradeable assets for the Cubs-Sean Marshall, Mike Fontenot, Felix Pie, Josh Vitters, Jeff Samardzjia, Josh Vitters, Ronny Cedeno, Ryan Theriot, Jose Ceda, Juan Ascanio, Mitch Atkins, Tyler Colvin, Jason Marquis New Owner-Cuban please? At any rate, I will be very dissapointed if we dont get at least 1 big name added during the off season.

We could also change things up by no one posting on this board 'til the game on saturday but lol that's really impossible for any of us. But, i like your idea of changing things up. Come on people let's get the suggestions rolling in.. How about the Cubs remember how to play baseball? hey, that could jus work.

Funny how the most mediocre former major league players go to Japan and become superstars, and were surprised that most of the Japanese phenoms that come to the majors become mediocre players, and least the offensive players. -
Im not going to lie there is this pesky part of me who thinks that the Cobs have a legit shot to come back, but my brain just wants it to go away. Just lose and get it over with.

The Cubs are like your alchaholic uncle. You have a lot of fun wih him most of the time, but he'll embarass you in front of your friends and when you really need him, he'l let you down.

The Fish JUST signed him to a 6 year extension. Like four months ago. Dammit! We just missed our opportunity. That doesnt sound. like their MO. Oh well,back to ludicrous trade proposals. JR Mathes, Ryan Harvey, and Mark Pawelek for Grady Sizemore. Theriot and Fontenot for Hanley Ramirez and Dan Uggla. We don't need Dan Uggla we already have a 2b who can't field. 12 year 500Million dollar contract for Sabathia.

All joke trade proposals aside, if we were willing to mortgae the farm system one guy we could have a legit shot at is Hanley Ramirez.

Lets take a look at the Dodgers success: subtract a bunch of useless old guys-Nomar, Kent, Andruw Jones, Pierre, Brad Penny-replace with some nice young players-Kemp, Ethiere, Loney, Billingsly, and one really goofd old guy, in Manny, and voila.
