  1. does it really matter which turd clogs the toilet?
  2. Come on Ted, lets not melt down against the Buffalo Bisons.
  3. Sorianos the one who should be lucky that Bradleys distracting the media from his terrible play and the fact that he should have been on the DL months ago.
  4. Derrek, on the other hand wants to play him some baseball.
  5. These Mets seriously remind me of the Indians from Major League. Ive never heard of most of them, and the ones I have heard of I thought were long out of baseball. And why the hell are Soriano and his gimp knee(s) in the lineup?
  6. http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_l4ZZFzs7VIs/RucHGIlac6I/AAAAAAAAAbc/NAqXGwQ8paU/s400/SM1082~Cripple-Fight-Posters.jpg
  7. Blow Cubs Blow Blow Cubs Blow Hey Chicago Whattya say, Cubs might win a game one day they didnt have power didnt have speed lost to the worst team in the national league this was the year but the Cubs werent here and realised our greatest fear blow Cubs blow blow Cubs blow hey Chicago whattya say, the Cubs might score a run today we traded DeRosa got rid of Wood and a few other moves that just were no good. erase the offseason I wish that we could blow up a good team we knew that he would Gregg is Bad, Bradleys mad whenever Miles is on the field it makes us all sad
  8. Or knee surgery, like now.
  9. Wow of all the posts, I am suprised to see no Juan Pierre claims. not even in a joke.
  10. We're 9 games back. I'm pretty sure Ron Santo has given up. Are there ANY examples in history where a team has overcome this kind of deficit this late to make the playoffs? How far back were the Phillies at this point in 2007 before the Mets collapsed?
  11. I thought they went through the other league before their own. I guess I could be wrong on that.
  12. weve got the power. weve got the speed. to be the best in the national league. dude, I cant tell you what to think, but its over. Nothing Ive seen over the last 3 weeks sugests to me that even if the Cardinals were to go on a slide that we could capitilize on it.
  13. Another thread falls victim to a bunch of off topic bull Miles.
  14. The Twins would be a nice fit for Harden, however, theres also the chance that they could just be blocking the White Sox and Tigers.
  15. Cubs/Mets = the Yankees/Red Sox of train wrecks.
  16. Were at the point where there is absolutely no reason for Soriano to be active. Were essentially out of it, and if he has any hope of improveing next year, he needs that knee surgery. As for Lou needed the vets to help out down the stretch, its all moot at this point. Just platoon Fox and Fuld. I reallt cant remember the last time Soriano had any kind of meaningful hit.
  17. Theres no shame in losing to a better team, which is pretty much everyone. God this team is a sack of rotting monkey turds.
  18. Keep Harden unless we get something steller. Let Heilman go for whatever.
  19. Thats easy. .257/.285/.339 with 2 HR. Sadly, we should have been so lucky.
  20. It would be great for the Cubs, and like every other player, manager, and owner in baseball, hed love to be the guy who finally made the Cubs champions, whether to pad his resume or just to say [expletive] you, your welcome to those that have hated him all these years but I really dont see it happening. Personally, Id love to see it just to make that little doofus Elias Koblentz or whatever his name is head explode. Either way, I think he loves the Cardinals fans too much and would never do that to them.
  21. I was expecting very similar to the numbers Jacque Jones put up his first year as a Cub, which was .285/.334/.499 w/ 27 HR and 81 RBI. Hopefully a higher RBI total, because getting on base wasnt exactly the 2006 Cubs thing and higher OBP because Bradley can take some walks. Unfortunately, weve gotten more like his 2nd year.
  22. Well thats just great. Your move Hendry or
  23. so he wasnt perfect, but 11 Ks in 5 innngs screams send me back to Tennessee morons.
