  1. More relevant to the discussion is neither of those QBs are playing for the team that drafted them. One of them worked out well but always came up short. The other was a bust for his team.
  2. That’s a bad review
  3. I think they will be taking a qb anyway so it doesn’t matter. But if they were going to take him at the top, then I think the odds increase that they trade out. The big money is in the 2nd contract so a player is best off starting his rookie clock sooner. Harrison probably isnt hurting for money, but guys want to be the top of the NFL.
  4. I can’t imagine he’s hof material his biggest claim is probably that the double doink happened to somebody else
  5. That’s because you are afraid of the cage
  6. We didn’t need to know about the shower
  7. He’s citing another awful draft pick
  8. People talking themselves into the Hoskins as biggest free agent signing is actually okay storyline is funny.
  9. I guess, but I might prefer keeping the swing tackle and letting another team give him money in free agency.
  10. I concur. It would be nice to make some part of this offense excellent, rather than just being satisfied with adequate production. The line is as good a spot as any, especially if you can’t make the WR top of the charts.
  11. What does it refer to?
  12. I concur. I get why people cheer for losses in a tank situation, when your draft status is all you have and your losses directly affect your best option to improve next year. But when you already have another teams 1st rounder and that pick is essentially a lock for too 3, if you are still rooting for your team to lose you have problems.
  13. Although they are currently 1 and 5, the projections show them 1 and 8. It’s possible their own pick drops out of top 10.
  14. First shootout of season results in first shootout loss. Bedard scored in the shootout but not the game.
  15. Thumbs up to the thread and the player
  16. looks like lions -3
  17. Curious how many QBs currently in playoff position were drafted top 10 by their current team. I don’t have Sunday ticket anymore and don’t follow many others much, but it feels like 90% of teams in good qb situation took like the 4th guy off the board. Trevor Lawrence seems like the obvious exception, and he went to a situation where they loaded up his skill players, rather than trading up. Herbert was top ten, right? And he’s a guy whose team regularly lets him down.
  18. That’s a little unfair reporting. They are slated to play the Texans this week, one of the youngest teams in the league. He’d prefer to play against a more seasoned group
  19. This win probability chart is amazing. I’m sure this happens all the time in the cesspool that is college football. But in a conference championship game? Just mesmerizing
  20. Probably safe to bet he ain’t holding out from the draft
  21. Wow. They healthy scratched Reichel yesterday. I think this is part of the danger of intentionally being bad. Your good players don’t have any good players to play with and are routinely overwhelmed by superior competition. Thankfully Bedard isn’t merely good. But they really run the danger of ruining their opportunity if all they do is keep losing
  22. That something may be the run of high quality offensive minded coaches involved in the development
  23. The attractiveness may be more about giving him a chance to go to a better situation, if after 3 years his new team is in a situation as dire as his old team. he could probably get a couple more bucks/guaranteed years as well.
  24. It’s okay, Cobb County taxpayers will foot the bill
