  1. I don't know what my reaction would be, but it might be laughing.
  2. Think it's just a younger version of boy scouts are you people serious?
  3. you keep telling yourself that
  4. Plus how sad it is that we're all desperate to see the Cubs rise to the level of pathetic he defined above.

  6. they are not mutually exclusive reports kaplan didn't say the Cubs were going to get him at that price, just that they offered.
  7. You were in the Bot Scouts, that's your own damn fault I was 9, you weirdo. So which parent just sat and stared the whole time?
  8. you'll grow out of that
  9. You were in the Bot Scouts, that's your own damn fault that was david
  10. Or just realize there's no need to defend your team's history against the arguments of others and enjoy the win.
  11. I wouldn't call World's Saddest Man a "title" per se.
  12. Uhhh...but isn't the point to win the Super Bowl? Again, I would prefer long-term sustained success over a fluky run that would ultimately hurt the team in the long run. 5 playoffs in 7 seasons including a Super Bowl would seems like a pretty good example of long term success. The Eagles were about as successful as you could get over the longterm without ever winning a Super Bowl. I'm sure you'd rather be the Patriots but that isn't a realistic goal. take what you can get.
  13. what's with all the debbie downers up in here good things are going to happen
  14. And it's not like they have been forced to release good players they wanted to keep or were unable to get outside help. The Bears aren't getting enough positive production from the past 4-5 drafts and their coaching staff is bad.
  15. My issue wasn't with them getting him. It was with the hope he would continue to progress from last year, he had improve to justify the contract. He's regressed and it is a financial liability so far. It's not really a financial liability at all. They aren't being hurt financially because of Cutler. Cutler's contract isn't preventing them from being a better team or turning a profit, so there is no way to call it a liability.
  16. First time for an SEC division. One in the same.
  17. I didn't realize it either until I kept hearing the commercial in the background on NFL Network. They also follow that one up with a Monday Night game vs New Orleans. No Sunday football until the weekend before Christmas.
  18. Chris Kuc ‏@ChrisKuc · 4m4 minutes ago With #Blackhawks sending Phillip Danault to Rockford, it appears Andrew Shaw is ready to return to lineup following upper-body injury.
  19. I'm cringing at the fact that meatballs do love pointing to Orton and he's only slightly behind Cutler statistically. But for every Orton backer there is a McCown backer so it evens out alright. At the end of the day, so much still falls on this staff. Get a new staff. Draft them a developmental QB. Give the current offensive core two more years while continuing to replenish our youth with picks and mid-range FA signings... Things really don't look bad if Emery is ready to move on from Trestman. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I don't know about this fictional "developmental" QB, if a QB is there that is an upgrade to Cutler you take him. If not, you dont. Well there won't be a QB guaranteed to be better. In the mid rounds it will be even harder. But we should definitely try. If it doesn't work out well have tons of "option years" on Cutler. I agree, unless you can draft another punter.
  20. Yea I guess I'm not replying to any post specifically in this thread, but there's a lot of lamenting here. The general meatball stance is what my post is more directed to. what meatball stance?
  21. Kobe Bryant to the Knicks is trending on twitter and the only tweets I see about it are ones that say Kobe Bryant to the Knicks is trending.
  22. I love when media members get up in arms about a guy not answering their questions they way they want them answered. MAKE HIM TALK TO ME MISTER GOODELL!!!!!!!!!! they care more about that crap than whether a guy beat his kids or wife.
  23. My analysis of Cutler this year isn't particularly analytical. I just believe his throws have been off. It's almost as if his shoulder is bothering him or something. In the past I'd see a lot of only Cutler can do that throws, and they haven't been there this year. He's dumping off so much on his checkdowns that I am sure certain people are getting moist about it, but even the checkdown throws look off. This looks nothing what I would expect to see out of Cutler is his second year in a quality system. A lot of that is related to what no longer looks like a quality system, but even then I have been disappointed with Cutler's play this year.
  24. I wouldn't describe Cutler has all or nothing this year. Unfortunately, I haven't see a whole lot of the "all" that I am used to seeing in him. He has looked really good at times, but not often enough. He's been okay for much of the time and looked bad far too often for my taste.
  25. He's been very inconsistent or disappointing in too many games this year. He's gotta pick them up and carry them more often if they're gonna have a chance. Look at the 49ers and Panthers games as flipsides of the same coin of being that up and down. Wouldn't you rather see more results like that Vikings game you love like it's your child as opposed to the all or nothing crap we've seen too often from him and the rest of the team where they seemingly only have a half of football in them? He hasn't been close to all or nothing this year. I think he should have been allowed to throw the ball more in the late third and all of the fourth, but Trestman was in full turtle-up mode. he threw like crap the first two quarters
