I'm not sure JerryWorld ever even hit 1.3B I guess not quite, but I think SF, Minn, and NY all did/will. Holy [expletive] really? I think the number on metlife stadium was $1.6B, and it is terrible.

Brian drain shouldn't be a problem if they just hack into every other city's supply. That being said, you can't have brain drain without brains and STL has never been an intellectual hotbed.

no the only time I would hate watch sports is if I heard an Alabama/NYY/BOS/Dallas type team was in the process of losing a big game. Then I would turn it on. Other than that, why would you hate watch a sporting event? -

Wait you're telling me this passed 30-2 and the two no votes weren't from the Chargers and Raiders? Chargers have a chance to go as well, so it probably behooved them to play ball on this vote, knowing they were not the first option.

When you have 2 of the top 5 players on Earth and evaluate talent well, it's going to be hard to be anything less. I've only seen them a couple times this year, but I think they are more explosive than they may have ever been. At times, yes, but there have been stretches where Kane's line was the only one scoring. Toews and Hossa are both having sub par seasons for them. Shaw is not the answer on the top line and the bottom pair on defense ranges from barely adequate to awful. Don't get me wrong, it's been a lot of fun to see them beat up on teams lately. To repeat, they're going to need another defenseman and a real solution at 1LW. How much do they have to work with because of the Kuger injury and Scuderi trade? I think they can scrape together about 2.5 Mildo without trading a roster player. They can increase that by burying Bickell but there would be only modest savings by burying Scuderi since most of the $900,000 saved would have to be paid to his replacement (Pokka for example) unless the trade was for a defenseman. To get anyone worth getting, they likely need to include Shaw or get the other team to pay half of that guys salary. So I think they could swing someone currently making as much as $4.5 mildo. These are all rough estimates. what is this?

Certainly continuity plays a part, and it is meaningful. But the biggest thing is that I trust Fox with coaching hires. End of half timeout usage, no. But coaching hires, I give him the benefit of the doubt.

Wut? Carolina. Their path has to be one of the hardest for a #1 seed I've ever seen. Just venting mostly, I think they're better than Seattle, but that game will be a dogfight. I get you were venting, I was questioning the details.
