  2. Uselton was one of Pawnee's rival cities, right?
  3. Make the Atlantans pay for it.
  4. The thing cowardly fans were just happy to participate in
  5. Nobody's It's been noted several times, they would go to a 6 man rotation before and probably after the ASB. What happens a month from now is another question
  6. I am guessing Warren will get 1, or maybe 2 starts before coming up and possibly facing the Braves in the make up game before Pittsburgh series. He just went 2 innings with 51 pitches. That game is currently slated at Arrieta, but he could get an extra day of rest before facing the Pirates and then 3 off days before ASG. The Cubs are going to have at least 2 pitchers on the all star team and maybe 3.
  7. richards Dl Warren option to get a start before all star break.

  9. yeah, coghlan did nothing wrong. the ball didn't go anywhere and he didn't run. that's the right decision. Well yeah, in a vacuum a runner on 1B probably shouldn't be going for 2B 99% of the time on that ball in the dirt/where it bounced/ended up, but when the runner on 2B goes for 3B he should've taken off on seeing that. no he should not have, because once you see the ball has not gotten past the catcher and therefore cannot run, you don't just reverse course and go to 2nd. He would have been even more delayed in going than Almora was and a very easy target for an out.

  11. All I was implying is that when I think of the word "meatball", I think of it in a much broader sense where you don't have to be quite as big of an idiot as you described. What he described was a broad definition with specific examples.
  12. Ladies, and gentleman, Jake Arrieta will now allow you to fap to him

  14. Clearly you are confused by what a meatball is. It's a circular, meat based food. But that's not important right now. surely you can't be serious
  15. Obviously day drinking off days take their toll [tweet] [/tweet]
  16. by the way, the whole point of those hangover jokes is that he (at least allegedly) doesn't drink I thought the whole point was the idea of him basically [expletive] himself with hangover poops was hilarious.
  17. I hope Vogelbach never plays a game for the Cubs.

  19. Turns out he was discussing a concussion Ross suffered three years ago..., 4 runs scored during the story.

  21. I could see a Montero DL stint. To me, that'd make MORE sense. Not enough playing time for the 3 of WC, Montero, and Ross. Exactly. I don't get calling him up if it's just to be one of the three main guys. 3 catchers is no fun.
