  1. Then take the field
  2. Cubs Baez uniform number is being used as A reminder for how many days before opening day [tweet] [/tweet]
  3. I stand by that thread, unlike Bryant, who can't stand on account of the knee surgery. Also this is a good thread title.

  5. Fair enough, and secretly I think they're going to blow it anyway. I know jets fans they all think they will blow it
  6. If any position in the NFL did for a franchise what the QB position can do I would agree. Nail the pick and the cost of the trade will never come up again, no different from the Wentz trade. It helps that this draft mostly sucks outside of some IOL, Denzel Ward, Landry, and some interesting ILB prospects plus they kept their 2019 first. I think you are glossing over the part where the jets have to pick the right guy and develop him. The trade wasn't cheap.
  7. If it finally fixes the QB position then absolutely. I'm just terrified they will botch it and take Josh Allen with his horrendous 56.2% completetion rate. Someone probably needs to save the Jets from themselves and take him. That's not how valuation works and that trade wasn't close to cheap.
  8. 3 2nds is cheap?
  9. So 3 QBs early, might make a trade down impossible for Bears but should leave a damn good talent available to pick.
  10. Huh, that goes against Hoges tweet earlier. Yes it does. That forth year could really hurt us That's what renegotiations are for
  11. looks stupid switch it back Playing on a giant wooden surface is strange but I can live with it. All the trucks blocking the infield is a little too MTV Rock N Jock for my liking. We'll get over it like the DH and interleague play.
  12. I hate that less than two years after a World Series title you cynical bastards are ready to shove any of these guys off the train and pretend there was never anything good about these players. They are human, you know. I prefer to remember the good times and celebrate the positive. He had a hot wife.
  13. Everything duke touches...
  14. This. No. Neither of those things is inherently different from the basic game of baseball where you have 3 outs per inning to advance a runner from home to home. It is much different. And dumb. And it will only slow the pace of play, because nothing slows things down like guys in running position in extras.
  15. No. I'd rather end in ties after 11 than do any of this baseketball nonsense.
  16. I was watching it again and the leg definitely comes to a complete stop, but there is still some slight movement in his upper-body area/arms. It's not as smooth as Kershaw's motion for sure. I really hate the balk and it's really hard to determine whether a pitcher committed a balk or not in some cases. I don't believe umps will call a balk on Darvish as long as he doesn't pause that leg motion for too long. You hate the balk?
  17. Pace was not shy with the guarantees. My goodness. These guys better all be great signings.
  18. I mean, Bradford is nothing special, but he was more hurt last year than bad. He was actually really good in the one full game he played week 1 MNF. How many times has this story been told?
  19. True but I feel like budging on everything the teams want is how we got this mess of a sport in the first place. you think agents didn't like this?
  20. you think agents didn't like this? True but I feel like budging on everything the teams want is how we got this mess of a sport in the first place.
  21. Something about him from today https://riggosrag.com/2018/03/13/washington-redskins-taylor-gabriel-option-wr-need-talk/
  22. What? It's called the legal tampering time when teams can negotiate but but not officially sign. It used to happen "illegally" but there was never any good reason to punish people for it so they made it part of the process. Of all the things to criticize the league, this is nothing.
