Just seems like the lack of mental fortitude, gutless choking dog, big softy, Yu articles are everywhere by these idiots which seems a bit over the line to me to be pushing such nonsense narratives. And these guys were building in that stuff to their stories from spring for the “fans” who read them to jump all over him the first sign of trouble. at the very least it's the same in the major east coast markets.

Vegas/books probably know they are going to take a lot of money on them so they adjusted it more for that than who they think is gonna win. I read the other day if Vegas wins, with the futures bet on them, sportbooks will take a loss on the year overall for NHL betting since so many people put money on them for the hell of it at the beginning of the year. They have a multi-million dollar exposure to them winning. Yeah, I would guess they’re trying to get as much money on the Caps as possible to balance it out since the odds of Vegas winning were so high at the beginning of the year (over 100-1). but it's not like there was a ton of money bet on them.
