    The lack of elevation, full rotation or distance traveled dings it a bit, but the immediacy, certainty, finger point, situational awareness and the name/number combo on that back of that jersey really sells it. I go 8/10 on the flip.

    He went in on Yu on the radio the week going in to the A-Rod game. Jesse Rogers says Sutcliffs is a “high level cubs employee” though so he knows what’s what..... Didn't hear about that.     Rosario didn't respond well to being optioned, came back almost immediately and got shelled. This seems to be a direct response "put up or shut up" situation. De La Rosa has been bad, but might actually be a good candidate to be better than Rosario the next three weeks.

    isnt it more like winning a one year supply of pizza but it's delivered from papa John himself?Yeah, he's delivering the pizza but it's good pizza -- not Papa John's -- and you can just have someone else get the pizza from him and ignore it. Right, he's delivering good pizza. You can send someone else to the door, but there is photographic evidence of him yucking it up with your racist friend who for some reason is really enthusiastic about hanging out with Papa John and tells him he was right about NFL players kneeling.

    we're already long past the point of people praising cost benefit analyses over teams actually trying to win more than other teams, and criticizing fans who would rather watch teams try to win.

    what was the matter with maddon using the manny comp? He said if he ever laid off the slider low and away, meaning if he ever learned patience. It's obviously never going to happen but what the hell is wrong with making those comments about your player? Javy isn't exactly a guy who wilts under pressure.

    Thanks. I actually had a scan show complete remission a few weeks back. However, being a blood cancer they are using radiation to make sure they get it completely so I don’t have to do this again. Basically, my tumors were located in just the right spot that they felt radiation would not harm my vital organs longterm and they could greatly reduce the damaging affects of those last 4 chemo treatments by not doing them. I’m very happy. very happy for you
