Let's not. I was referencing the post that you seemed to be replying to. You said he keeps rolling it out, which is why I was curious if he had actually done this again, or if you just didn't realize that Mal Engstrom is the same girl that Brian was referring to being friends with his cousin. He's referring to the phrasing.
Isn't this just talking abou t the new NBC network with the other 3 teams? That is the one being talked about as pretty much done. The Cubs one is not being talked about in nearly the same way. Also LOL about paying more for NBCCH minus CHC
Yeah, if that rumor is true then I’m cancelling MLB.tv. I was already thinking about how many games I get thru Youtube TV( national + cardinals + MLBN simulcasts is like 50 games i think), and this would make it a real easy choice. I already cancelled when MLB donated to the racist senator from whichever racist state
It's not necessarily bad in comparison to current model if there is a floor involved. Right now 10+ teams aren't trying to win, so won't spend at all. Even the teams that are trying to win are tightening belts. Players have been taking home less and less of the total revenue pool, and if a cap/floor situation was necessary to raise that it may be better than the shitshow we now have.
I have a theory that moving Tommy was in part a "mental aspect of the game" decision. It was nice that they stood by him when he refused his demotion to Iowa, and it was cute that they had prank wars in spring training. But I'm thinking they wanted less of a kumbaya mentality in the clubhouse and more of a cutthroat professional feel this year. That being said, Tommy also wasn't good at baseball.
It really isn't. If he’s taking the LaStella role it’s hard to see how this is a bad move. It's boring AF, the Cubs being boring makes me angry, ergo, I hate this move.
True enough, his ass 1/2 sack of Rodgers was hilarious, Packer lineman was literally holding on for life and Mack still managed to back into Rodgers. My daughter asked me why the other player was choking the Bears player on that one. I kind of missed it live so I rewinded and explained how it should have been a penalty since they aren't allowed to do that. She didn't like that they let it happen.
