  1. but what this take presupposes is, what if that is not the case?
  2. didn't that happen like 2 weeks ago? I thought the same thing but couldn't find the reference here. But this was written weeks ago.
  3. I sure as hell would not be happy if the Cubs intentionally went into 2019 with him in the rotation.
  4. i mean i've been checking in online for as long as i can remember...like well over a decade. that's nothing new. i use mobile tickets now but a lot of times i still print a paper one because it's just easier to deal with once you're there (if i'm checking a bag and have to use the kiosk anyway). and maybe my anecdotal claim is off but i still feel like i'm in the minority when i'm boarding using a mobile ticket (or delaying the line bc of scanning issues). I'm mobile check in every time, but when traveling with kids we're checking luggage and it took me a while to not automatically hit print boarding pass on the kiosk. Anecdotally I think it's gone from 50/50 a few years ago to 70/30 or higher in favor of mobile the past year. That is when flying united. I've flown a couple other airlines that are way behind the times on tech and don't even offer mobile boarding.
  5. What a bunch of malarkey. The freaking all star game isn't going to bring a dime into the city.
  6. Not for nothing but including him in a trade now is the best way to clear payroll
  7. Probably not at Andruw's level, but Mets fans would cite Mo Vaughn. Mo was old and injured before he came to queens
  8. Heyward did it at 26
  9. If you get them drunk on top shelf stuff it negates the risk of radiation.
  10. he's from australia, so truffle probably knows him
  11. saying "people from Iowa" gets the same exact point across
  12. That reminds me of the year that Desmond Clark "made" the Pro Bowl in a year where the Bears got absolutely no production from TEs. Even he was shocked. And then they realized that it was actually Dallas Clark that made it and the NFL rescinded the invite. LOL, I don't remember that at all. https://www.chicagotribune.com/news/ct-xpm-2006-01-28-0601280155-story.html

  14. this is getting out of hand
  15. Just shut up. The refs blew several calls in favor of the saints. You can't compare a missed facemask call or hold, etc, with a blatant blown call at the point of attack in that game situation. You guys would be blowing a gasket if that were against the Bears. It was a blatant a miss as I've ever seen, especially given the circumstances. I absolutely can compare those calls.

  17. The fridge era bears started the concept of the nfl in London. Also, I love this. Really hope it’s an early morning game. I might have to go.
  18. Treymon has had it up to here with the cat https://twitter.com/wtraymor/status/1087070432975556610?s=21
  19. It wouldn’t surprise me if this is true. Offseason has been a snore but I’m still giving 5 stars
  20. More larger?
  21. on the one hand, cubs stopped trying to win and this offseason sucks, on the other hand, there's tree
  22. There are a lot of really bad NHL teams. Philly, NJ and NYR makes the NHL completely pointless in the northeast corridor. Detroit still blows. Chicago and LA are bad. There are going to be marquee names at the lottery.
